Initial Expectations: Although he normally has some good art direction, overall I’ve had mixed results from Nic Cramer, with most of his features lacking due to wild distortions in the picture. I have some hopes for this one, just because it has both Silvia Saint and April, but not a lot.

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Nic Cramer’s films, the technical aspects aren’t what most people are normally used to. The audio is normally well done, but the video can leave a lot to be desired. It’s shot on film, so the picture is normally quite grainy. It’s also slightly out of proportion much of the time. Thankfully, he hasn’t messed with the colors as he often does.

Music: The music comes and goes a little, but is normally very quiet in the background.

Menus: The menus are extremely simple with a touch of animation.

The Feature: After getting into a car accident, Alec Metro finds he has the ability to hear what people are thinking when they touch him. It turns out to be both a blessing and a curse, as he finds out the sexual fantasy of the nurse (Silvia Saint) in the hospital, but also finds out his girlfriend (April) is cheating on him.

Silvia Saint starts things out dancing for Jon Dough. It’s a nice little tease, but not as nice as seeing her take his cock in her mouth as he spanks her ass. Voices turns out to be one of Nic Cramer’s better features. The picture, which is in widescreen (which is always a plus to me), isn’t as distorted as many of Mr. Cramer’s other features. Mr. Cramer also does a nice job of including real credits that include a couple of chuckles at the end of the feature, which is another feature I really like. Voices doesn’t have the strongest plot, but the cast does a good job in their few non-sex moments. It’s almost impossible to not like the sex, with April and Heather Lynn keeping right up with Silvia Saint. It’s a little different from many other features as some things are left in that aren’t seen in most other features, such as a look of distraction when something falls off a desk a couple is fucking on or one star giving the other some direction. If you’re curious about Nic Cramer’s features, or are just a fan of anybody in the cast, you’re going to want to at least rent this one.

Extras: A bio is included for Silvia that gives just enough information to recognize her in the movie if you’ve been living in a cave for the last five years or so. The photo gallery is an impressive mix of about forty full screen shots and snapshots that for the most part, look very good. Rather than give a lot of trailers, Pleasure has included box covers for dozens of their releases. It’s a nice way to show a lot of the titles they offer, but a few trailers would have been really nice. Finally, there’s internet and phone sex information.

Overall: Currently, Voices can be found online for between $16 and $21 with all but a couple stores offering it for under $20. Surprisingly, this is a good DVD. It’s lacking extras, but the technical aspects are better than most of Nic Cramer’s features and the sex is good.
