Pros: Victoria Vdrok masturbating! Somewhat intimate and intriguing

Cons: Feels like I am watching an old VHS tape (someone buy that poor woman a decent camcorder. It’s not like she gets money for being in Playboy and Penthouse.;)), the best masturbation scene has the worst video, Was that a climax?, OK! You’ve got a lot of underwear. I ain’t your girlfriend, I’m guessing you saw more pink in her Penthouse spread, Does this make me a stalker?

Why I have it: I am getting even more interested in porn that lies outside of the mainstream. Astroknight’s reviews of Shot at Home DVDs peaked my interest and he offered me this DVD. Though I saw his review of it I certainly could not turn down a DVD of a former Playmate masturbating (actually, if you knew me well enough you’d know that the words ‘former Playmate masturbating’ will instantly peak my interest). Bias Alert: The overall rating would be lower if this wasn’t unique to me and if it wasn’t a Playmate…masturbating!

Overall:
I do certainly have an affinity for Playmates (I probably have the last 15 yrs worth of Playboys), but Victoria was not one of my favorites. There was a period of a couple years when I was disappointed when I saw a blonde as Playmate of the Month, not because I don’t like blondes, but rather because many times it looked obvious that Playboy was trying to find the next Pamela Anderson. I don’t feel like pulling out Victoria’s original Playboy appearance, but I am quite positive that I rolled my eyes at first glance and thought “another Pam”. (Note: I was a huge Pam fan, but I just didn’t want another Pam). That all being said, Victoria still was hot and still was a Playmate so I still love her.

I know when this was released, but not when it was shot. I am assuming that Victoria is in her late twenties or early thirties at the time and she has kept herself in pretty good shape. She masturbates on four different occasions in four different locations. I actually hate to criticize a woman for her masturbation style, but will here because I have a hard time believing that it is her actual masturbation style. The DVD has a certain intimate feel to it, but at the same time I feel like Victoria was unwilling to show us how she pleasures herself, aside from pointing out her sex toys. She starts our slow and that is great. She talks to the camera and that is fine, but usually her words don’t match with her verbal clues. A slow start is great if it implies gradual build up, but that is not the case. Simply put, there is a very often a very slow start, a few ‘Ohs’, and a climax(?) without so much as a twitch. There isn’t much real sign to exhaustion or relief after the climax. I felt like she was putting on a show without even knowing how to put on a show. You may even be disappointed to see arguably less pink than in a Bob Guccione era Penthouse spread (and not just do to poor color in the video).

When Victoria was not masturbating, she was either working out naked or showing us her lingerie. Unfortunately she spent more time trying on lingerie. Granted, she is easy on the eyes and I do like seeing her take off different clothes, but eventually four thoughts entered my mind: (1) Us men love to see women undress, but we’d like that you put on at least some kind of show. (2) This must be what it is like to be married and be dragged by your wife to go shopping and watcher her go shopping. (3) I ain’t your girlfriend. I’m a porn viewer. Tell people about your favorite outfits on your own time. (4) I can easily imagine a stalker going up to her and saying “We were meant for each other. Don’t you remember showing me your Playboy pajamas”.

I know I have said many bad things, but the DVD always gives something good to look at and I am intrigued by its unique nature.

Note to Shot at Home: I would like to see more of what you have to offer, but your site really needs to offer trailers. I suspect you have some real gems there and I am interested in viewing DVDs devoted to one or two girls, but I am reluctant to take the risk.

Bottom Line: With this DVD you get to see a Playmate like you have never seen her before, in bad lighting.
