Up & Cummers, as a series, is pretty much a mixed bag and volume 68 serves as a good example of what it does well and what it doesn't do so well. I've always liked the "first time on camera" conceit of pro-am features. At the very least, they save us from typical scripted porn posturing and show us something we haven't seen before. That's pretty much the foundation Randy West's long running series was built on. This is presented well with a relatively clear picture and very sharp sound. But there's a downside to all this. Honest and sincere fucking doesn't always translate into good fucking. Let me explain.

Volume 68 is broken into four segments. Of the four, only two are worth the price of admission. The first segment, for instance, is easily the best. Eighteen year old covergirl Bunny Luv introduces herself, strips, then immediately goes to work on one of the most advance vibrators I've ever seen. If it's not the most advanced, it's certainly the loudest. It has an electrical cord, but I swear to god the thing is gas powered; it's got gears for crying out loud! But what of Bunny Luv? Despite the silly name, she's just what porn needs--an all natural and enthusiastically horny girl. Randy West, evidently agrees, as he fucks her about as hard as an AARP card holder can. Despite the fact he's old enough to qualify for free coffee at Hardees, Bunny appears to be really into him, and continues to ride his cock reverse cowgirl long after he's popped his load inside her.

Randy also does good work with a new African- American girl named Mary Jane. She reminds me a lot of a young Dominique Simone--big tits, round ass, noisy as all hell. Randy does her in a variety of positions before delivering an internal anal cum shot. Julian St. Jox is also there to put this former stripper through her paces, but she doesn't complain. At least I didn't interpret all that screaming as complaining. I'm not sure if we will see Mary Jane again, but we should. There's just no substitute for enthusiasm.

If the first half of Up & Cummers #68 represents what's good about this title, then the second half represents what's wrong with it. Ironically, the bad begins with a segment starring Jessica Darlin, Allysin Chaynes, and Vanessa. These are the girls who are the reason most people will want this DVD. If you've seen any of them work before, then you certainly want to see them in action again. And the fact this scene is disappointing isn't their fault. The blame, unfortunately, rests on West's shoulders. We're told that this is Randy's 50th (50th!) birthday, and the three girls are giving themselves as a present. Now, pause for a minute and consider what you would do with such a gift. Then, explain to me why Randy refuses to take full advantage of the situation. He briefly fucks each girl for a couple of minutes, and each one briefly sucks his dick before they jerk him off into Jessica's open mouth. That doesn't sound bad, but through all that the girls never undress and Randy never takes his pants off. He just pulls his mid-size dick through his fly. Hell, he doesn't even untuck his shirt. Where does he have to be so soon that he can't be bothered to take off his trousers? I just timed myself, and I'm able to remove my pants in about 7 seconds; Rodeo riders stay on the backs of bulls for longer than that. And I'm wearing shoes! The best I can guess, fucking with your clothes on is a fetish for some people. I just don't want to see it. Besides, Randy's really starting to show his age. I'm not sure if that's a dollop of semen that came out of his dick or a tiny puff of dust. Hot girls, but not a very hot scene.

Lastly, there's some foot fetish stuff going on with Amythiest and Asian Amy Atakani. If you like feet, you'll like this. Lots of jerking off with feet, lots of cum on feet (not from Randy), just lots of feet in general. I prefer some form of penetration, but there's none of that here. It's all about feet. There are a lot of people who dig this kind of thing. If you're one of them, then this won't be nearly the downer for you as it was for me.

I don't want to end on a sour note, though. And so I won't. Let me now heap all the praise I can muster on this disc's menus. Menus? Yes, I hope other companies look at this as how chapter menus should be done for non plot driven movies. Each of the four segments has it's own animated menu item. Once chosen, you're given chapter stops for each position within that segment. It makes it very easy to navigate through the disc, and because you're not following a linear story, being able to easily jump around between scenes and positions is important. This is the best I've seen it done. The only other extras are some previews and a photo gallery I found to be a little buggy. Apparently, even the extras are a mixed bag.
