Up and Cummers 51 Review

Randy West's Up & Cummers series, if your unfamiliar with it, is a polished up version of Ed Powers' Dirty Debutantes. Powers features girls who have never appeared on screen before, and Randy follows the same format, only he often uses more established performers. Also, it's worth noting that neither one has been carded for alcohol in a long, long, long time. West, in particular, is old enough to be my dad, and I'm old enough that it no longer bothers me to be called "sir" or "mister!" His decades in porn has brought him some experience, though, and it's all on display in Up & Cummers 51. Normally, I cringe at the idea of watching Randy West yet one more time, but the women in this addition of his long running series are so over the top attractive you hardly care he's involved.

As a pro-am production, expect some pro-am production values. West uses only one camera which he sometimes operates himself, and sometimes you have to adjust your audio to understand what people are saying, but this isn't so much a shortcoming; in fact, West relies on his videos' homemade feel to serve as their appeal. If you're looking for porn that shows off your home theater, look for an Antonio Passolini movie; if you're satisfied with hot videotaped sex, then continue on with Up & Cummers 51.

In this addition, West features current Vivid girl Raylene and freakishly pretty Charlie as his covergirls. If they're what he's pushing, then I'm buying. These two hotties hook up together for an extended girl/girl scene, but don't just leave it at that. Soon, West is in on the action to get some spectacular head from Raylene. Charlie, who most often avoids men on screen isn't left out; she's joined by Roy Ramirez. Together, he and West put the girls through their paces, fucking them on the same couch side by side. Forgive the brief interlude, here, as I try to illustrate a point. But, back when I was in junior high school, there was this weird kid whose eyes would dim slightly during lunch and they would actually vibrate when he began to eat his ice cream sandwich. Years later we learned that his head wasn't hooked up like most others. I never thought I'd think of him these many years later as I'm watching porn, but what I'm getting at is that Raylene's eyes assume the same distant euphoria when she brings Randy's dick into her mouth to finish him off. The junior high school kid turned out to be insane for ice cream (and other things); I'm just left wondering what goes on inside Raylene's mind in moments like this. Clearly, she's not in porn just for the paycheck.

I've yet to see Up & Cummers 50, but we're told that Randy has some unfinished business with Jennae Dess, which means we're dropped right in the middle of their sexual congress. We learn later that Jennae is only nineteen--disturbing when you consider Randy, at the time, is pushing 50. In fact, Randy is taken aback, himself, when he finds out. She looks young, but acts much older. Not many women fuck with the skill and maturity as she does. Their outdoor scene takes us through several positions, and as the two of them do what comes naturally, I get the nagging feeling that I've seen Jennae somewhere before. As it turns out, that nagging suspicion is unfounded. I haven't seen her, I come to discover, but the familiarity I felt is due to the fact this young girl reminds me strongly of Serenity. She could pass for Serenity's little sister, and being a Serenity fan, I'm as pleased as I can be to discover there's someone else out there with the same look. She's got a pretty big tattoo on her lower back, though, which is a big flaw for many people, but not me. I find her to be much too pretty to be distracted by some display of ink. If there's anything here worth complaining about, it's the non stop barking of a nearby dog who doesn't share my respect for a pretty girl doing private things in public.

If you equate cute with sexy, then you'll flip your proverbial lid over Japanese starlet Amy Akatani. If it's fair to liken Ron Jeremy to a hedgehog, then Amy is a Koala. You just want to pet her, or squeeze her, or maybe even do the things to her that Randy West does. That is, fuck her in about a half dozen positions. I know that the aged are sometimes easily confused, but Randy's eyes are so wide with happiness over Amy that I suspect he just can't make up his mind what he wants to do with her next. Certainly, she's game for anything he has in mind, and together they deliver a very hot scene. You have to admit, when you see him with girls like this, Randy has stumbled upon a pretty good racket with this Up & Cummers idea.

Lastly, Randy welcomes back Leah Stevenson from a previous edition in the series. Leah looks so young you hope Randy had the presence of mind to check her birth certificate before diving in. I mean, she looks really young; she still has braces on her teeth. She doesn't act young, however, and Randy fully takes advantage of the situation. He likes her so much he pops twice, both times in her mouth. The "Girl Next Door" term is tossed around quite a bit, and it's lost it's meaning, really. None of the girls that are described that way ever lived next door to me, but you can see how that might be true of Leah. She's not made up, her hair isn't groomed especially for the shoot, her tits are real, and her bush is unshaven. As I watched her, I thought that it would be only a matter of time before Max Hardcore would come calling; she's just his type. Then, I learned later that he already made that call and cast her in Max World 13 in which he has her perform some pretty unspeakable acts. That's either a good thing or a sad thing, depending on your tastes in porn. Here, though, she puts forth a hot and intimate effort to close out a DVD of nothing but good porn.

As I mentioned earlier, Up & Cummers 51 is not a technical marvel. It's a pro-am effort, but it's done well. The video and audio are lackluster, but you have to expect that from this kind of DVD. There are a few slapped together previews and a photo gallery which stretch the meaning of the word "extras," but they're there and that's certainly more than you'll find on it's VHS version. Like the other titles in the series, there's a very well done chapter menu which lets you easily select the girl you want to see fucking and the position you want to see her doing it in. I liked that, but I liked the sex much better. Sometimes the Up & Cummers series impresses, and sometimes it disappoints. This time out, Mr. West impresses.
