Initial Expectations: This is my first DVD from Dane, so I’m going to keep an open mind going in.

Initial Reaction: It’s kind of fun and has some decent sex.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes the schoolgirl look and wants some fun and simple porn

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesn’t want any setup with their porn

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally pretty clear, but it’s also clearly dubbed in quite a few spots. The video is slightly above average. It has a slightly soft feel and a few occasional shadow problems. All in all, it’s better than what I expected for a series like this.

Music: The music is pretty typical, and rests very nicely in the background of the scenes.

Menus: The main menu has a little bit of animation that keeps things simple yet nice looking. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a list of the performers in the scene.

The Feature: University Co-Eds 23 follows a pretty standard formula. Each girl is introduced and interviewed about their background, and as they’re interviewed, the video often switches to a tease. The sex scene then comes out of one of the star’s “personal experiences” with them giving a small story about what happened. Each scene stands on its own and normally has a small but fun plot sequence.

April, a cute blonde demi-goddess with an amazing natural body, starts things out in a cute plaid skirt, white knee-high stockings, and a white t-shirt. After her interview, April masturbates without any toys. She doesn’t take herself all the way, as it cuts back to the story. She picks up bum Jay Ashley (which doesn’t seem like much of an acting stretch) who’s willing to work for food, has him clean himself up, and then come visit her in her bedroom where she’s changed into her black bra and panties. Jay fingers April’s love mound while she sucks his cock and then lets her sit on his face. She lets Jay out from under her so he can fuck her from behind, and then rides him cowgirl style. They move on through a little scissors before April takes a nice facial. It’s a pretty good scene that has some decent chemistry and energy. I’ve been a big April fan since about the first scene I saw her in, and this one didn’t disappoint me. She has a natural beauty that I think most stars would probably kill for, or at least go through a lifetime of surgery to try and match.

Samantha Rivers, an average looking brunette, has a little trouble playing rent to sleazy landlord Damien Michaels. He starts out tonguing her pussy before she sucks his schlong. It’s a slightly above average scene that thankfully keeps Damien off screen as much as possible.

Piper McCormick, a cute brunette, takes center stage next with a step-father who wants to get to know her more than a little better. He waits until she’s out of the shower and then sits down on her bed as she’s getting dressed. Although the subject is disturbing, the sex is handled nicely. Piper and Herschel play it for chuckles and have some very nice chemistry throughout the scene.

Finally, Samantha, a slightly below average looking blonde, cheats on her fiancé with best man Johnny Thrust after learning her fiancé has cheated on her. After a little kissing and groping, Samantha bends over to suck Johnny’s rod with some decent energy before he mouths her muff. He quickly moves on to fuck her twat missionary style before he slides up and spoons her, part of the time during which she spanks his balls. They continue through reverse cowgirl and doggie before Johnny gives Samantha a little fuck frosting on her back. It’s another scene that’s more than a little above average. It has some great chemistry and energy, which makes for a great ending to the feature.

University Co-Eds 23 is a surprisingly good feature. The lead-ins give you a nice background for the stars, assuming that you believe them, and the setups are normally fun. The sex hovers a little above average, but doesn’t duck below average. Piper’s scene really stands out by being a little disturbing but still very hot, and Samantha is right there with her. Overall, though, I’m pretty impressed with this feature and look forward to others in the series. It’s simple but fun, and nicely focused on the college age of the women. If you’ve got a burning in your pocket, and think it’s a few extra bucks rather than something you brought back from a blind date, University Co-Eds 23 is worth a look.

Overall: Most of the University Coeds series can be found online for between $9 and $19 with plenty of stores offering them for under $10. At this price, it’s hard not to recommend this series. University Co-Eds 3 has some decent sex and fun setups. Although the transfer is pretty good, there isn’t anything for extras worth mentioning.

Note to Dane: It’s great to see you keeping the price of your product so low and giving the transfer some decent attention. Although I’d really like to see a few extras, the price makes me easily forgive this shortcoming.
