Before I go any further, apologies for inaccuracies in IDs in this review - due to a couple of reasons. I don't generally watch Vivid movies, I am not really familiar with many of the performers here, and for their part, Vivid have made no attempt to credit either the performers or the scenes properly, but with thanks to fellow reviewers here at Adult DVD Talk, some detective work and IAFD.com I just about got there.

Flash frame, jump cut, slow mo, super-imposed billowing clouds - there's no disguising extremely bland girl-girl sex. Cassidey and another pretty brunette, whose name escapes me, are pouting, posing and glowering at the camera on this spartan set, wispy curtains blowing, but it actually looks a bit crap if the camera stays still for long. Cassidey, in see-through baby doll nightie, takes the lead, fingering and licking her playmate, who reciprocates; licking Cassidey's little boobs and pussy in a way that even I know won't get anyone off. But that's not what it's about - the visual is all, style over substance, though in truth the girls look okay, but not outstanding. So let's leave them lapping away to no great effect. I'd estimate this was taken from the Girl World series - possibly #1 from the review I read.

Now, if that was weak, this is plain silly. Whoever dreamt this up must have a certain sense of humour (I believe it was someone called Cody, the movie being Jungle). I can see how her feline form might lend itself to such a notion, but surely this would be entertained and then dismissed within seconds, not made into reality: Cassidey is body painted like a leopard (or is it an ocelot), getting it on in a jungle village set with Ian Daniels and Cheyne Collins (I think). There's another girl standing by in even more ridiculous body paint, all accompanied by a lite-metal soundtrack. More sensibly dressed, i.e. more or less nude, Mark Davis and Chennin Blanc are there too. Oral exchanges, doggy style sex and even some anal for the blonde Chennin and Cassidey are on the cards, but when I realise Cassidey's hair has been done to look like Minnie Mouse's ears, that's it! Forget about it. It's also hard to tell who's doing who, as it becomes a bit of a shambles before the pop shots - safely fired on to girls' stomachs.

Straight into the next scene, Cassidey and Erik Everhard are in a 69, bound up in that plastic rope with lights inside - you know, it was popular in 1980s discotheques. Cassidey slick's Erik's cock with spit, strokes and sucks it, pouts and looks gorgeous - it's that mouth of hers that does it, I think. However, as she rides Erik's jackhammer dick, it's obvious that this soft-focus/lens flare effect is going to go on through the whole thing, and becoming ridiculous as the glowing rope is entwined round them during doggy - it doesn't even look that good, but at times you can just about see her body amid the smeared light. In a brief pause in the music, you can hear their sex sounds in the empty studio, but then it's back - eighties music to go with eighties styling. Great. Finally, Erik comes on her stomach. From scouting around, I think the original movie is Dreams.

Now here's something - Cassidey swinging from a ceiling beam while this blonde guy licks her pussy (he could be Devin Wolf, I gather the movie is Marissa). She gives a frantic wet BJ in return. Completely unadorned, it's possible to admire her slim sexy body at last, but the scene is filled with quick fire sex - the editing takes certain liberties with continuity, jumping from position to position but at least the energy is there and the focus is on the sex. It's noisy enough to keep their neighbour awake. Anal, more hard driving sex, and hey, a facial come shot - this is all right (well, slightly crap actually by usual standards, but all right as far as this sorry selection goes). Best bit? In an all-girl scene, Cassidey plays with a very buxom (but enhanced) blonde, who I think is Renee LaRue, while across the room another two blondes (Chennin Blanc again, enhanced and slightly haggard looking, with, and I am guessing, Dayton Rain) get together too. I don't know, I just get the feeling Cassidey's happier in this sort of thing - maybe because she looks so slim and young and lovely compared to these other women! Playfully stripping her friend, Cassidey spits on the woman's pussy, licks and fingers her, slapping her big ass. While the other duo exchange oral licks, Renee slaps Cassidey's clit, who responds by strapping on a dildo and having her blonde pal ride it. The music is still going from the previous scene as the action jumps to Cassidey and Ian Daniels, heavy petting on a couch, then, bang! They're naked. He licks her clit and delves two fingers in her pussy. Her best, sloppiest oral efforts still take time to get his pole standing to attention, but at least it gives time to reflect on how cute she looks blowing that cock. Eventually they start to fuck, missionary and then reverse cowgirl, Cassidey bouncing and grinding on his cock. The other guy licks and fingers the black girl. This scene has more of a gonzo vibe about it, though annoyingly they take stills at one point during the sex. Anyway, doggy sex, with hair pulling and spanks to her little bottom have me wondering where Vivid hide this stuff away (Action Sports Sex, or Color Blind, at a guess?), but don't get carried away; it's a very brief feature of the action. Side by side cowgirls, and hard missionary sex for the black girl take the action on, while our girl Cassidey is bent double and fucked like a toy. As they start another position, the guy comes on Cassidey's chest, obviously prematurely, and the director asks, "what did you do to Joey?" "I didn't do nothing," Cassidey replies, smiling sweetly. The other guy takes over, banging Cassidey hard and fast in doggy and missionary, causing her legs to flail. With more missionary for the unidentified black girl (apologies again!), the guy finally comes on her stomach. Now, aside from the "safe" sex aspect, this scene is more like it.

Overall
I have no particular axe to grind with Vivid. I just don't buy their movies. Solely based on this collection, I wouldn't be inspired to seek out more, though I'll stay open minded. The main reason to watch a comp based on one girl is to see her in action, to really show her talent off, and frankly this set of scenes doesn't serve gorgeous, pouting Cassidey well at all. The whole thing seems generally hashed together - no proper credits, no explanation of what movies these scenes were taken from, mediocre picture quality and most importantly a poor selection of scenes. I believe this is not the only Cassidey comp that Vivid have produced - perhaps they're spreading her contribution thinly. Ultimate Cassidey is not "ultimate" in any regard, sadly just another example of a studio seeking to exploit a starlet's popularity to milk the fans.

DVD Comments
As I allude to above, the picture quality is not all it should be and scenes that were shot on film look grainy. The sound isn't too bad, so you can "enjoy" the music that drowns out the sex sounds. As for extras, well, I'd love to tell you all about them, but unfortunately it seems my computer would rather crash than access them. Perhaps it's dropping a hint. The tacky menu design provides options for photos, trailers and so forth, and I gather that there's a possibility there might be some extra hardcore scenes on here, not that I was able to see them.
