Description
The Trouble With Girls is a 5 scene girl on girl movie. The first three scenes are loosely linked by a plot, while the final two vignettes individually stand on their own.

In an unusual move, the first scene is seen through the eyes of a man (Manuel Ferrara, I believe). Manuel, or whoever, goes to his drug dealer, played by Dana Vespoli, and is given a sample of a new drug that causes horniness and hallucinations. He tries the sample on the spot, passes out, and fantasizes about Dana's bodyguards, Eva Angelina and Jenna Haze. Second scene, Annette Schwarz is given some of the same drug by Manuel, and Annette immediately takes it to her bathroom to take, evading Gianna on the way. After she takes it, she masturbates furiously with several dildos and begins to fantasize about Jennifer Dark and Lexi Bardot together, with someone in a men's suit and hat looking on. Annette orgasms and passes out, and we get to see her fantasy in better detail. The person in the men's suit is revealed to be Gianna, and she dominates the other two with a strap-on dildo and smothers them with her breasts and rear. Third scene, Annette wakes with a start, and like a woman on a mission, puts on some chaps, sneaks up behind Gianna, and abducts her. We next see Annette with Gianna tied up. It turns out that Annette's drugged fantasy of Gianna with Jennifer Dark and Lexi Bardot had some basis in fact, and Annette is both jealous that her girlfriend cheated on her and disturbed that Gianna would be dominant. Annette sets things straight.

The fourth scene begins with Lindsey Meadows staring blankly in the direction of the camera, her lip quivering with emotion. We see flashbacks of Lindsey and Aubrey Addams kissing outdoors and in a car, and then the flashback of their first sexual tryst is the main body of the scene. The scene ends back in the present, and we see that the reason why Lindsey is trying not to cry is because she has caught Aubrey with a boy. Aubrey and the boy finally see her standing there, we see that Lindsey has a gun, she points it at him, and the screen goes black as we hear two shots. Director Dana Vespoli seems to like to end scenes with people being shot by jealous lovers. The fifth and last scene has photographer Alektra Blue seducing her subject, Shyla Stylez.

What I Liked
I really liked Lindsey and Aubrey's scene. I liked how their sex scene ended with them kissing each other while rubbing each other's pussies with their hands. I liked how even though all scenes had some toys, the toys are not the main focus.

If the tone were more serious, I would not like drugs being a plot theme in porn, but Dana Vespoli in a fur coat and sunglasses sitting by the swimming pool, with a huge mound of white powder on her table and naked female bodyguards with backs painted like wildcats and wearing collars, is so over-the-top that I have to like it. To top it off even more, when they cut a line, they have Jenna Haze get on all fours, and cut the line on the small of her back. Jenna Haze and Eva Angelina are quite arousing, and filming a girl/girl scene through the eyes of a male was interesting.

I liked the work of the wardrobe person, the cameraman, and Gianna to make Gianna look like a man. The woman dressed in a man's suit and hat is nothing new in girl/girl porn, and it doesn't take long at all to realize that that person in the suit is a woman, but thanks to the way that the suit hangs and the fedora brim covers her eyes, and the angles that the camera uses, if you don't peek at the box cover it will be a surprise that she is Gianna, because you can't see her big breasts or recognize her face in that suit and hat. Actually, in both of her scenes Gianna is dressed in 1940's style clothing. That suit and hat would not have looked out of place in a Humphrey Bogart movie, and in her scene with Annette, Gianna looks like a South Pacific inspired pinup. I liked how when Annette knew that Gianna would obey any command that she gave, Annette started speaking in German, to see the perplexed look on Gianna's face. Gianna wants to please Annette, she just doesn't understand what Annette is asking her to do. I liked Shyla sucking on Alektra's toes, and that scene in general was pretty good.

I also liked that Jenna Haze's scene from Dirty Little Stories was included as a bonus scene. It's not such a big bonus for me, since I already have Dirty Little Stories, but I know that there are Jenna Haze fans who will appreciate only having to see one DVD to see both of Miss Haze's scenes for director Dana Vespoli released by Digital Sin. But to those fans of Haze, I must point out that Dirty Little Stories has a good Behind The Scenes, bonus footage of Jenna with Dana Vespoli, and a good scene with Lexi Love and Gia Paloma that might make it worth it for them to actually see that movie.

What I Disliked
I didn't like Gianna's scene with Lexi Bardot and Jennifer Dark very much at all. For one thing, the lighting is pretty harsh, really glaring off of the girls' white skin. Maybe that lighting was intentional, for some artistic reason, but I don't know what the objective of that would be. Other than that, I don't know what it is about the scene that I don't like. The girls are attractive enough, and no acts are performed that I dislike, but for whatever reason, the scene just doesn't work for me.

I watched this movie for Jenna Haze, and her scene with Eva Angelina is good. But it could have been better if there had been more mutual and simultaneous action between the two of them, like the 69 position or pussy to pussy action, with or without a double-ended dildo, instead of just having one eat and toy with the other, and then trading places. I also don't much like Jenna's closed-toe pumps, but that's a very minor quibble.

I do wish there was a BTS. The end credits do credit a BTS to Jew Hefner, but it's not on the disc. To Digital Sin's credit, at least the box cover doesn't promise a BTS. But I think Jenna and Eva being body painted, Dana as the drug dealer, and Gianna putting on a suit and learning how to adjust her posture so that her breasts aren't obvious through the suit would have made good BTS material, so it's a shame that there isn't a BTS.

DVD Quality
This disc played just fine on my set top DVD player without any skips. The picture is 4:3 standard definition video, but it looks okay on my television. I've already mentioned the lighting issue with the second scene above, but otherwise the scene lighting was okay. When someone starts to have a flashback or fantasy, the video of their flashback or fantasy will be in different combinations of grainy picture, highly desaturated color, or completely black and white, until it is well established that we are seeing a flashback or fantasy, and then the picture will return to normal so that we can see the sex better. In the first scene, when the camera man takes the drug, the camera gets blurry to replicate drugged wooziness. Likewise, the audio gets echoey to show the drug's effect at the beginning of the first scene, and as that scene ends, as the drug wears off, an audio loop of the sounds of Jenna and Eva having sex plays in the background. But both the audio and video are clear enough when they haven't been intentionally altered for artistic effect, save for that harsh lighting in the second scene.

I've already mentioned above that Jenna Haze's scene from Dirty Little Stories is included as a bonus, and that there is no Behind The Scenes. Other than that, the only bonus materials are a photo gallery and some trailers for other Dana Vespoli movies released by Digital Sin. Two other trailers play when the disc first loads, but you can skip over them. So there aren't a lot of extras, but that one bonus scene is a great one.

Overall Thoughts
Jenna and Eva's scene, Gianna and Annette's scene, and Alektra and Shyla's scene are all pretty good, but not particularly spectacular. Lindsey and Aubrey's scene was hot, though. Jenna Haze fans on a budget who don't care about BTS or bonus material can see this disc and see both Jenna and Eva and Jenna's scene with Michael Stefano from Dirty Little Stories. Obviously, fans of Lindsey Meadows and Aubrey Addams should check this one out.
