Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are a bit on the artistic side. The audio is well balanced, but it's also a bit muffled at times and a little on the low side which made some of the movie hard to understand even after turning up the volume. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. There's a very bright look to the movie that washes out a little of the color, and makes me think that there might have been a lot of natural light used in the movie. There's also a touch of softness to the picture, and combined with the lighting it gives the movie a washed look that fits it very well.
The Movie:

Okay, to start things out, I have to say that this is one TRENCHCOATx release that I didn't go into with high expectations. The entire female cast here can regularly turn out a more than solid fuck, but their personal styles with plenty of ink and Riley's buzzed head just don't do much for me. The white trash theme behind it also leaves me pretty much cold. That said, I think Kayden Kross is one of the best directors in the business today, so if anyone can make this one work for me she might be the one who's able to do it. I also believe that if we never step out of our comfort zone now and then we're never really going to grow as people so every now and then I want to take a risk with a movie I think there's a good chance I might not just because.
Trashy Love Story ends up a movie that I can appreciate, but I can also say isn't quite my thing. The acting is solid, and the production values and art direction are just as good to really give the movie a good backbone. There's also a decent ribbon of a story to connect the scenes without going too crazy. Donnie gets a solid pair of blowjobs from Kenzie and Riley, and Holly turns out a very solid anal scene with Jessy as well as a very nice lesbian scene with Evelyn. The highlight of the movie for me, however, was Riley's scene with Stallion. The chemistry is nothing short of fantastic, and the action was captured beautifully to give it a feeling that was almost romantic at times while also never quite letting go of the dirty fuck aspect of it. If you're a fan of Riley or Stallion, this is a scene you're going to want to see. Trashy Love Story might not be my thing due to the theme and the styles of the cast, but it shows no shortage of care throughout and continues to show that Kayden Kross is a director who deserves plenty of love this coming awards season.
