Toxic (Smash Pictures / IFG) Review

A movie about madness, made in Spain, but mainly with foreign Euro acts and some surprises.

*How good is the plot?

It isn't as much as it seems to be. The film has a good develope but no real argument apart from some sketches joined in a strange way.

*And, what about sex and performers?

Well, it does not disappoint anyone who expects a good sex flick, but it doesn't reach the category of masterpiece. Plus, it isn't a gonzo, so the scenes are a bit short.
The performers, as I've said, are Euros, but they do their role very well. Chemistry is here openly better than many Euro flick, perhaps a good choice made by the director in these matters. There's a not well known Spanish girl called Celia Blanco, who plays a nurse, and she hasn't done many things, so if you want to see her, this is one of a few where she appears. Also, another blonde in the first scene called Linda Argentina is rarely seen in other films. She does IR too, so those who love blacks on blondes this has some "must" scenes.

*And what's the result?

It is good, though not a great masterpiece. The DVD is not well prepared, the video quality, the extras... are at a low quality. That puts the film in a "fine, though not especially recommended" position.
Interracial searchers might find this an interesting piece, since almost every scene has black boy - white girl action. Fans of Euro stuff might find rare talents. But those who are much into gonzo or doesn't like "arty" films, you might not like it. Be careful!
