Note: This review is for the blu-ray version of “Top Guns” from the blu-ray / DVD combo pack. There are also two DVDs included in the set, presumably of the same material.
Review:
“Top Guns” is an excellent production from Digital Playground that features a host of the company’s contract girls in a sexy take-off on a super-popular, similarly-titled mainstream production from the ‘80s. Jesse Jane plays the lead role in this one as a reckless-but-adroit Naval pilot who, along with her RIO (Riley Steele), is sent to a school for extraordinarily talented pilot/RIO teams. Of course, the plot thickens as both boy-vs.-girl and Jesse-vs.-Kayden (Kayden is Jesse’s arch-nemesis) rivalries develop and take hold, but everything ends well when the ladies are able to fend off an aerial attack by the bad guys. Not to be ignored, of course, are the various sexual escapades that the women get involved in and that also form the true basis for the movie.
In terms of the sex, there are a total of six scenes—all very good or better. In Scene One, Jesse takes on Erik Everhard in a nice-looking bathroom in the back of a bar. Before all is said and done, multiple positions are employed—many of which make good use of the countertop. Jesse, of course, looks as good as ever here, and the festivities close with her taking a facial from Erik—very good stuff! Scene Two brings together Stoya (long time no see!) and Mick Blue in a classroom. The blowjob work here is hot and involves face-fucking, while the various vaginal positions that are employed are all sexy. A facial closes out this very good encounter, as well.
In Scene Three, Riley Steele and Marcus London get it on—in what’s tantamount to a ruse on Riley’s part. This one takes place in a bar after-hours and involves some sexy oral action by Riley and also some nice vaginal positions that make use of the various items in the bar (i.e. a bar stool, etc.). The cum-shot here is delivered to Riley’s pussy—again, very good material! Scene Four is another very good one and involves Kayden Kross taking on Scott Nails in a locker room. The blowjob that Kayden doles out is sensual and steamy, and the various vaginal positions that the pair gets into are also hot. This sequence takes place in a hangar and is of a celebratory nature, as it immediately follows the ladies saving the day. There’s lots of girl/girl and boy/girl action, and—even though the scene does bounce around a bit in some spots—it’s still very-good-to-excellent stuff. Indeed, the best part of this segment has to be the hot line-up style sex in which all of the girls get into standing rear-entry positions, and Tommy takes each of them sequentially. It’s like “running a train”…but different (*wink*). To cap this one off, Tommy drops a load on Sasha, and then the girls all do a sort of cummy-kissing pass-around of the cum—hot stuff! Finally, in Scene Six, Raven Alexis and Ben English unleash some of their pent-up passion in his office. The various positions on the desk (all vaginal) are the highlights here, and the sequence is finished off with a facial for Ms. Alexis…which she follows up with some oral cock clean-off—another very-good-to-excellent encounter.
In terms of bonus materials and other items, it should be noted that the production values, sets, acting, and effects are all top-notch…way beyond normal for an adult film. Indeed, Kayden’s acting is so good that it actually made me dislike her character—I never did like the character in the original whose role she has. She nails his mannerisms perfectly. (This is actually a compliment, by the way.) Beyond the technical items, there is a “Bonus Sex Scene” that involves Riley Steele and Jesse Jane in a BTS-like sequence both masturbating and then giving Scott Nails, an interloper, a full-on blowjob. This all takes place in a bathroom on the set, and the finish is exquisite—Jesse jerks Scott to a pop in Riley’s mouth as she’s blowing him. It’s spontaneous and extremely erotic…and I have to say that it is my favorite part of the disc. In addition to this mind-blower, there’s an interesting and informative “Behind the Scenes” featurette, a handful of “Deleted Scenes”, some “Bloopers”, a short-but-cool “Making of FX” segment, a “Gallery” that puts forth a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills from the production, a choice of 14 “Trailers”, and a “Contact” option that lists the company’s website. Holy bonuses! Sheesh!
All in all, this is a high-budget feature that is really worth the money. There’s a strong plot, awesome effects, and very good (or better) sex. There are also very cool extras—don’t miss that “Bonus Sex Scene”—and it goes without saying that the female cast is beyond compare. For me, the best performer in the movie—all-around—is Jesse Jane, but one could make an argument for many of the participants. This is one that shouldn’t be missed.
