Too Little, Too Late Review

This is a well acted movie from writer/director Mike Quasar. Aaliyah Love has always been one of my favorite performers and a big reason for that is her ability to make the audience empathize with her character. Her cute smile and soulful eyes make the viewer want to root for her and she always does a wonderful job of cultivating that feeling. Her performance in this movie is no different.
For proof, look no further than the way she says scrotum when Pistol complains about the seatbelt catching him in an uncomfortable position (a wonderful bit of writing from Quasar). It’s a simple yet effective way that Love makes Christine sympathetic to the audience. Things like that establish her as the character we want to root for.

The opening sex scene really builds on Christine’s character as she is somehow both playful and innocent at the same time during her steamy romp with Jay Smooth. There is something innately arousing about hearing Aaliyah Love giggle during sex and it fits her character. There are also some really great shots of Aaliyah’s ass; specifically an angled shot during the 69 where we get a bird’s eye view of Aaliyah sucking Smooth off while over her shoulder we can see the perfect mounds of her derriere.

Tommy Pistol plays Robbie brilliantly. He really connects with the audience as the lovable loon who hides behind a wall of inappropriate humor to cover his deep regret. The flashes of pain on Robbie’s face that Tommy gives the audience at key points of the movie really work to tug at our heart strings. The best bit of acting in the entire film is a scene between Pistol’s Robbie and Wolfe’s Ivy where Robbie finally breaks down and lashes out at her when she questions with whom his true feelings lie. The frustration they feel towards each other in this moment is palpable. And if you’re a fan of energetic sex scenes, you’ll absolutely love these two together. I also liked the fact that the room was a bit darker for this scene as I feel it reflected Robbie’s melancholy nature compared to Aaliyah’s scene with Smooth which was brightly lit, matching her sunny disposition.

Casey Calvert does a great job in a supporting role as Christine’s cynical friend who doesn’t believe in dedicating too much time to relationships because in her experience, they rarely last. She represents a starkly realistic counter to Christine’s optimistic attitude. Casey tends to put her energy into more carnal pleasures rather than seeking deeper connections and her scene with Small Hands really reflects this attitude. Calvert uses her eyes throughout to scene to let Small Hands know she’s enjoying herself on a purely physical level.

Romi Rain and Danny Mountain have a nice scene together that seems to be made for ass fans. Rain’s cowgirl is really good and we get a bunch of nice long moments watching her bounce on Mountain. We also get some really good doggie where again, Rain is allowed to work her hips wonderfully while positioning herself to allow her voluptuous tits to be on display.

The movie’s climactic sex scene is heartwarming and quirky while still managing to be pretty hot. It’s exactly the payoff the audience deserves and Mike Quasar deserves credit for writing two incredibly likable characters. This is a great feature for couples as well as general fans of the cast and it's some of the best work I've seen from Mike Quasar. I viewed this feature on Wicked.com so I was not able to view any of the extra features.
