Review:
“Tila Tequlia: Uncorked” is an overall-good production released by Vivid via their celebrity line that stars reality t.v. star, Tila Tequila. Tila—known on television largely for her rampant bisexuality—certainly dispels the notion that she may not be into girls in this one, as she takes on adult performers, Kristina Rose and Charlie Laine. Indeed—with her clear experience and enthusiasm—this release leaves little doubt as to Ms. Tequila’s penchant for the finer, feminine things in life. After watching this, I guess that the only question remaining is whether she’s really into guys or not…but who cares, right?
In terms of the festivities, there are essentially two scenes presented on the disc and both of them take place in Tila’s fancy hotel suite and involve the participants filming the action themselves. In the first scene, Tila and Kristina Rose—whom she has supposedly picked up at a party—spend a good deal of time together. There is a playful atmosphere, and the two partake in a good deal of banter and hijinks. Interspersed amongst the interactions is the sex, which involves a good deal of pussy-eating and fingering. Kristina also uses a vibrator on Tila. After this, Kristina notes that she has a friend (Charlie Laine) who is still at the party. Deciding that she is “cool”, Tila allows Kristina to invite her up, and they’re off and running for the second scene. Again, there’s a lot of banter, playing around (much of it in the nude), etc., and the sex is interspersed amongst this action. Fingers and tongues are still on the menu, and a lot of the sex involves Tila with Charlie this time around. To close things out, both Charlie and Kristina finger Tila to an orgasm, and then they all make out.
It should be noted that the sex genuinely comes off as authentic (i.e. the participants appear to be enjoying it, including Tila), and it’s pretty clear that everyone in the room likes to eat pussy. Some of the camerawork is jerky and out-of-focus from time to time, but this—coupled with the chatter and other nonsexual interactions—more or less contributes to the realistic feeling of the whole affair.
In terms of bonus materials and other options, this production is advertised as a “2-disc set”, but I only received one disc to review from Pulse. I’m going to go ahead and assume that there are bonus materials on the second, missing disc. As such, the only items that I saw were the “Vivid Extras” (ads and a PSA) and a “Sampler” (quite soft) for other celebrity titles from Vivid. I’m going to leave the “Extras” category as “N/A” in terms of its “stars” for this reason.
Finally, it should be noted that ads play upon inserting the disc, but these can be skipped by hitting the “Menu” button on the remote. Further, the Vivid website watermark is still present in the lower-right corner of the screen. This is relatively unobtrusive.
In all, I would recommend this title for those who are fans of reality t.v. and, more specifically, Ms. Tequila. If you don’t like her or find her attractive—she reminds me of former Vivid girl, Kobe Tai—then you should probably rent first to check it out. Also, I wouldn’t go much above $25 for this release, even if you are a fan.
