The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Digital Playground and Robby D., the technical aspects show some very nice care. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there is a minor background noise or two, they're normally worked into the scene rather than being ignored and bringing the scene down slightly. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks darn good. There are a few areas where the lighting is a little low, but they're very few and far between and the camera work is steady enough that it comes off as giving the presentation a little more natural feeling.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu works through the opening credits before setting into a few stills of the girls with a little minor animation mixed in. The chapter menu is borderline generic giving a small clip of each scene and a chapter number, but helps itself out by also listing each girl's name in her first chapter.

The Feature

This is a very nice scene that gives Throb 2 a great final feeling.

Throb 2 is a nicely done POV movie. Robby D. keeps the feeling nice and light throughout the movie and mixes up the setups very well. The sex is never over the top, but there's always nice energy and vocals along with some very nicely shot POV angles. I think Audrey's scene was my favorite here, but it just barely pulls ahead of the others with the entire movie being extremely consistent. Throb 2 is a very enjoyable POV movie that has plenty of chemistry and a fun feeling throughout.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. If you like POV porn but don't want it too nasty, this one should be worth the low end. The sex is very nicely captured and there's some great care put into the tease aspects. The technical aspects are very well done, but sadly there's barely any effort put into the extras which does hold the release back slightly. This is a good POV movie on a DVD that could have used a touch more effort.
