Sex Z Pictures’ "The Temp" shouldn’t be confused with the 1993 mainstream movie of the same name starring Laura Flynn Boyle. Forget about seeing suits and skirts fretting about business deals, office politics, and scoring the corner office with the good coffee and the only working printer. About the only thing that both movies have in common is the title and the fact that both leading ladies are brunettes.

This version of "The Temp" focuses on one woman’s first few days working at the offices of a certain movie studio. And it doesn’t take us long for us to realize that this studio is an adult film studio. (There’s a stretch!) The guy (Van Damage) who "hires" our lovely lady (Exotica) was also in the process of auditioning another lovely young lady (Dee) for a different "job" in a strip club set. Of course, her resume was as… ahem… stacked. But she was willing to show off her qualifications.

Her resume starts with a little striptease for him. After getting naked, she sits down on the stage and he proceeds to lick her pussy. After getting her good and horny, she opens up his pants and she goes down on him for a while. They fuck on the stage in missionary position, then in doggie, cowgirl, missionary, and then he blows his load all down her chest. Nice interviewing style! (And a nice sex scene too.)

Exotica’s first actual day at work is a bit of a surprise for her. The moment she sits down, she hears the sounds of people fucking in the background. That’s when she realizes that this is a PORN studio! She immediately picks up the phone and calls her friend to tell her about it. The director (I’m told this is Skye Blue, the real director of this movie) runs them through the scene. He’s supposed to be a private eye, she’s supposed to be the client. There’s no real "acting" here as they go from heavy foreplay to her giving him a blowjob. But the scene is briefly interrupted by the new girl who just wants to sit in and watch. Some heavy deep-throating goes on, followed by doggie-style fucking over the desk. Then she rides him on top of the desk in reverse-cowgirl position. The new girl watches for a while, then she quietly leaves. The couple go at it back on the desk in missionary position before she gets down on her knees and he blows his load all around her mouth.

Some pretty hard-and-heavy action, but bringing Exotica into the mix just to watch for a moment seemed too much of a distraction.

Later, back at the front desk, our new temp gets to meet a dashing male actor (Tommy Gunn) who literally takes her breath away… not to mention takes the apple from her desk. As soon as he leaves, a young blond beauty (Malibu) comes in looking for her paycheck. The new girl can’t seem to find the check, but they both adjourn into the boss’ office, where the subject goes to paycheck to vibrators. Our new girl keeps on saying she’s "too shy" but she finds herself too willing to get seduced and stripped naked to the seasoned starlet. They each get some time with the vibrator in their pussies, but the new girl gets a second round of vibe love in doggie-style over the desk, where she then finds the other girl’s missing paycheck.

Afterwards, the new girl starts to close things up for the day when she once again meets Tommy on one of the sets. In terms of extras, there is a clickable photo gallery, a behind-the-scenes look at "Desperate Wives" which was a little jumpy and not really that exciting, a single-screen plug for Xmeg.com, and four clickable trailers for other Sex Z Pictures videos. It’s pretty much standard fare, but at least there is some measure of control over the videos. Unfortunately there is also a forced trailer for Xmeg.com that you have to put up with once you pop the DVD in, and they replay the four trailers right after it. That sucks.

All-in-all this is an okay video from Sex Z Pictures and director Skye Blue. The storyline certainly leaves a lot to be desired, and the sex is okay for some of the participants. It would be a good movie if you’re not really looking for a story and are more interested in the sex. It would also be best if you could find this video for $15 or under. If they spent a little more work on the storyline, it would be worth the $20 that some folks are asking for.
