The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are every bit as well done as one would expect from Mike John. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I heard a single background noise. The video is just as good, and although you can tell it's almost completely shot by hand there's never any jerky pans or zooms to hold things back. It's also very nicely lit and barely has a hint of grain. This is a great looking and sounding movie.

Menus: The main menu nicely blends a bit of fun animation with a few clips form the movie for a good first impression. The chapter menu also shows some nice care, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and the name of each girl.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts nearly nineteen minutes. After a couple quick moments with Lexi and Roxxxy, the action moves over to Mysti as she has some fun with the guys. There's even a little sex before it moves over to Ariel who works on the setup a bit with Mike before heading inside. Mike also jokes around about the guys with Ariel and before they setup the ending. Mike sets things up with Everhard before moving over to Chelsie. It's very straightforward, and I guess with some of the fun setups for what little plot there was in the movie I expected something a little more fun here. It's not bad, just not quite what I was hoping for. This is a pretty good behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, Jules Jordan Video DVDs can be found online for between about $25 and $35, with most stores offering them for under $30. The movie's just shy of four hours without a bad scene in the bunch, and there's some nice effort put into the technical aspects and extras. Even though I didn't get into the entire movie, I can't deny that it's all very well done and can't help but recommend this DVD.
