Initial Expectations: I've heard some very good things about Ashley's work behind the camera, and Elegant Angel has shown a great eye for directors. I can't help but look forward to this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed any background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format, and also shows some nice care. It's nicely lit but has just a hint of grain.

Music: There's some nice music to start out each scene during the tease portion that disappears as the action starts. It works well for the movie and never interferes with the action.

Menus: The main menu works through a few clips from the movie as the boxcover appears for a nice first impression. The chapter menu, as usual lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl(s) in it.

The Feature

With his directorial debut for Elegant Angel, Mark Ashley starts things out young. He focuses on barely legal action letting the girls put on a bit of a tease before kicking things up with the sex. Unlike other barely legal series, Mark keeps things simple here and lets the girls take it fairly easy with some passionate sex that never gets nasty.

Scene 1 – Adrianna Faust, Celina Cross, and Marco Banderas

The positions and moving between the floor and couch also made the scene feel much like the previous scenes. This isn't a bad scene, it just feels redundant and fell behind for me because of it.

Teen Machine is a pretty good barely legal release. There's a nice tease to start out each scene, and it does vary a little throughout the moive. There's also a nice lineup of barely legal female talent who are vocal, energetic, and have nice chemistry with their partner. That should make for a winner of a movie, but Teen Machine ended up stalling out for me in the last couple scenes despite these factors. I watched Teen Machine all in one sitting, and that's probably where the problem was for me compared to those who'd watch it a scene at a time. After the first scene, the entire movie just kind of feels the same. Three of the four scenes have Mark Ashley in them with the fourth having Ben English, but all four of them have the same feeling and almost feel like they have the same location moving between a couch and the floor. There's also no anal to mix things up further with the biggest difference among them being a nice racial mix for the girls. I think if the scenes were shuffled a bit more it would have really helped the movie out. Let Mark be in every other scene and throw the group scene late in the movie just to completely mix things up and I think it would have broken up the action better and killed some of the feeling of redundancy. Teen Machine isn't a bad movie, but it does get caught in the rut of sameness that might hold the movie back for those who try to watch it all in one sitting.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts a little over three and a half minutes with about seven seconds per okay looking full screen photo. Currently, many of Elegant Angel’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with most stores offering them for under $20. If you like barley legal action, this one should be well worth the money for you. The girls feel fresh and look hot while the action is nicely captured. The technical aspects show some nice care, and there's also some very nice effort put into the extras. This is a very nicely done DVD and a great debut for Mark Ashley at Elegant Angel.

Note to Elegant Angel: This release showed some nice potential, but a little more variety would have gone a long way.
