The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is pretty clear and well balanced, but there are a few minor background noises which pop up throughout the movie. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen. It varies a bit from scene to scene with some looking very clear and others looking a bit soft, and the lighting varies as well.

Music: There's music to start off each scene that often doesn't continue through the entire scene. It varies in style a bit from scene to scene, but always has a very nice balance with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu works together a bit of animation with stills of a few of the girls for a fairly poor first impression due to the stills looking skewed and moving around cheaply. The chapter menu, however, shows some nice care and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in it.

The Feature

Tear Jerkers 3 collects six oral-heavy scenes with only a smattering of pussy fucking. It starts each scene off with a bit of tease and moves on with plenty of cocksucking that's often captured in POV.

Scene 1 – Gina Lynn and Travis Knight

The lighting completely changes with the scene taking on a blueish tinge and there's a fair amount of background noises. The hotel room also has an almost amateurish style to it for these reasons, and the longer it goes on the better it seems to get. Gina really gets into the cocksucking, and there's a very natural feeling that took me from not really caring about the scene in the hotel room to really getting into it. There's a part of me that wishes that this scene would have been split into two different scenes or maybe using the beach portion as a bonus scene, but in the end I really liked it due to how much Gina got into it.

Scene 7 – Ariel and Michael Kahn

Tear Jerkers 3 is an okay oral movie. There's a few good scenes here, but the movie doesn't have so much of what might be considered variety for an oral movie as what appears to be inconsistency. There's several scenes with the “audition” theme as well as a few that are just playing around. Riley Evans and Vanilla probably have my favorite scenes here, and there's some very nice charm to Gina's taking on Ron Jeremy and Travis Knight in Puerto Rico. On the other end, Gina's opening scene with Travis, Katerina Kat's scene with Travis, and Ariel's scene with Michael Kahn did virtually nothing for me and often left me cold. There is a fun feeling that pops up throughout the movie, but more often there's a slight feeling of sloppiness with things not feeling quite right even when the sex is good. This often comes up with the camera work, which is often a little shaky and has a frequent feeling of being done by somebody who has basic knowledge of the camera but who doesn't really know how to work it. All that said, I'll also readily admit that POV porn and oral movies are often not my thing, so fans of oral movies and POV oral scenes will probably like Tear Jerkers 3 a lot more than I did. Tear Jerkers 3 wasn't bad, but also didn't come close to being memorable for me.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Demons Within and Pussy Meltdown. Both trailers have a horrible moving watermark that keeps popping in throughout the trailers. It's extremely annoying, and if I wasn't interested in which trailers were included on the DVD (as there's no submenu to let you choose a trailer you want to see rather than for movies you've already seen) there's no way I would have put up with it. The photo gallery lasts nearly ten minutes with about three seconds per slightly pixelated snapshot. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, cumshot recaps, and commercials.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about three and three quarter minutes and is presented in anamorphic widescreen. Alexis starts things out posing for stills as some of the guys joke around before moving to Puerto Rico where you see a bit of why the scene moved to the room as well as the group playing around out in the water. This is an okay behind the scenes featurette, but nothing overly special or memorable.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Gina Lynn Productions' movies can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with a couple stores offering them near the low end. Unless you're a fan of this series, rent this one first or aim low. I'm not a big oral sex movie fan, but there wasn't anything beyond the ordinary to really make this one seem special to me. The technical aspects are also pretty average, but there is a little effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is an okay release, and nothing special in any way.

Note to Gina Lynn Productions: Although this one didn't do much for me, it is nice to see you trying to mix things up a bit with your releases.
