THE LOWDOWN :
Save for the fact that Taya (aka Tiffany Mason) simply doesn’t have the clout to be a Vivid girl, this sweet, campy and often a bit nasty series of vignettes has everything to please the single man just as much as the adventurous couple. LaRue really holds his own in terms of visual cohesion, all clips have his definite imprint, from his trademark diagonal angles to his penchant for rimming & snowballing. Savanna’s segment, more urban, does break the fantasy theme, but it’s so hot that I’m sure nobody will care. Dru & Rafe’s stint is an absolute must for the fans. Another very sweet surprise from a director that has really come into his own this last year.
