NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies dont have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. Im rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are well done, and not just by homemade and amateur porn standards. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but there are a couple areas where the balance is a little off. The video is presented in the full frame format and also looks very nice. It has just a hint of grain and is well lit with a nice mix of tripod action as well as well done handheld action. This is one of the best looking and sounding homemade movies I've watched, and it shows that with a little care homemade movies can look and sound great.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally dont bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didnt notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Homes usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six clips from the movie.

The Feature

Scene 1 - Tara and Code

This is a great scene. Tara and Code start out their second release every bit as hot and fun as I hoped they would.

Scene 2 - Tara and Code

Tara starts out the next scene sitting on the bed as Code asks her to try on some of her Valentine's Day outfits. This is another scene that shows why Tara and Code have quickly become one of my favorite Shot at Home couples.

Tara and Code turn out a second release that's every bit as hot as their debut, if not hotter. Once again Tara is smoking hot, and although Code and his now purple hair doesn't do a lot for me with his looks, there's no denying how much fun he's having with Tara and the camera. The setups (if one wants to call them that) here are nice and simple, but capture the home video feeling great with a wonderful sense of fun as well as plenty of chemistry. I also love the mix of action here. You get a blowjob (which normally doesn't excite me), plenty of tease, and masturbation with a double toy vag, as well as the sex, and in every moment of it Tara and Code look like they're having a fantastic time. They really look like they love having the camera there, and because of it they put some very nice care into making sure that the camera's actually capturing the action right. As for complaints, I can't think of one with the amount of heat, care, and fun that go into this release. Tara and Code 2 is a truly great homemade release that's well worth checking out whether you're a fan of homemade and amateur porn or not.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. This one's well worth the money. At over an hour and a quarter it's on the long side of amateur and homemade releases, and there isn't a bad moment in the movie with Tara and Code looking like they're having a blast from start to finish. The technical aspects show some nice care, and there's also a bit of effort put into the overall release with the Shot at Home preview reel. This is one of the best homemade movies I've seen and deserves to be checked out.
