Talk Derby to Me is an all-girl feature movie that was written and directed by Ricky Greenwood. Ricky Greenwood's adult movies for Sweetheart Video have been taking the adult entertainment world by storm, and it is easy to see why. His movies combine good plots, with great acting, excellent sex scenes, and high production values. His newest movie Talk Derby to Me continues this trend.

Talk Derby to Me is, as the title implies, a roller derby themed feature movie. Suzy Weston (Stoya), a former roller derby player, is the coach of the Pussy Posse, a roller derby team. Ally (Joanna Angel) a once great but now aging former team member of Suzy's returns from New York to Los Angeles to get back on her old roller derby team to finish out her career. Charlotte, the Pussy Posse's star jammer goes out due to an injury, and a rivalry forms between Ally and Supervixen (Gia Page) for the spot. The two face off to see who can get the coveted spot of jammer for the Pussy Posse.

Talk Derby to Me does a beautiful job of recapturing the feel of a 1980s underdog sports film while also adding in hot girl/girl sex scenes. The story for Talk Derby to Me is excellent and brings in all the expected aspects that an underdog sports film should have. You have the person trying to gain something (Ally), the mousy character with something to prove (Youngblood — played by Elsa Jean), and the current it character trying to keep her spot (Supervixen).

Ricky Greenwood has done a great job writing Talk Derby to Me. While viewers will find the plot construction similar to a lot of this style B-movies that they watched during the 80s, that ends up being comforting. There aren't any huge surprises plot-wise, but there doesn't need to be. Viewers who like this kind of story will love the way it plays out. There isn't any reason to reinvent the wheel.

The cast is stellar does a great job with their roles. All of them bring their characters to life which benefits the movie a lot. Ricky Greenwood also, in a wise move, cast actual roller derby players in the smaller roles which adds to the authenticity of the movie. The sex scenes are all beautifully performed, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone familiar with the cast members. The sex scenes convey great heat and are excellently captured.

The whole movie is well captured. Ricky Greenwood has selected excellent locations and sets and the director of photography, James Avalon, has captured everything with a truly cinematic style that is a treat for the eyes. The soundtrack for the movie by Boris Novak is excellent. Talk Derby To Me is a must-see for fans of feature films. Talk Derby to Me won't disappoint!

The edition of Talk Derby to Me screened was a digital screener provided by Sweetheart Video; as such, there may be differences between the edition screened and the release edition. Sweetheart Video has done an excellent job with Talk Derby to Me. Talk Derby to Me was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1 in 1080p. The image quality is beautiful with no noticeable blemishes or issues. The colors in the movie are beautifully represented on the screen.

Talk Derby to Me is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The sound for the movie is excellent. The dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand, and all the elements are well balanced for a great listening experience.

Sweetheart Video didn't provide any extras with the digital screener.

Talk Derby to Me is Ricky Greenwood's third all-girl feature film for Sweetheart Video and is a must-see feature. Ricky Greenwood has kept up his standard of high production values, a genuinely interesting story, and excellent all-girl sex scenes. Talk Derby to Me is an adult movie that no fans of features are going to want to miss.
