The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is very nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. The camera work is smooth with a few minor jerks, but the bigger problem is the lighting. The entire movie is very dark, which is both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it does help with the mood and works great for the haunting aspect. On the other, it's almost too dark. I had my player kick up the brightness of the scene to see it well, and was very thankful I did as it brought the movie up to an average lighting level so I could see the action.

Music: There's a little eerie music to start out the movie. It's well balanced with the rest of the movie and helps it out nicely.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends an artistic take on the cover with a little cheesy animation for a lacking first impression. The chapter menu also falls a bit short by combining the style with text choices for four places in the movie.

The Feature

Scene 2 – Felony and Marcos Leon

Tales from the Teaseatorium is a darn hot tease movie. The setup is simple, but very nicely done and gives the movie some very nice substance to get going with. There's never any action between the girls, which I'd normally like in a group scene, but here that just wouldn't seem right. Instead the focus is completely on the girls teasing Marcos, which it does very well. Felony and Savannah have a slightly different style in teasing Marcos, which works very well since this is basically just one big hour long tease scene. Savannah's tease is almost loving at times to show Marcos what he's missing while punishing him while Felony comes off as being a little more vindictive before getting into the pleasure of teasing him. The only real problem with the movie is how limited Faith Leon's role is. She gets top billing on the cover, and I was definitely looking forward to seeing her in action. She does lead the opening group scene, but with the other two girls getting some good solo time with Marcos I hoped she would as well. When she didn't return for the finale I also felt quite disappointed. My other problem with the movie is how dark it was. It does help with the mood, but it's just a little too much so and holds back the sexuality of the scene unless you brighten the action on your TV. Tales from the Teaseatorium is a pretty hot tease movie that's held back a little by the mood lighting and how limited Faith Leon's role is (if you're one of her fans).

Currently, many of Venus Girls' DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $24 with only a couple stores offering them for under $20. The lighting's dark and there's no effort put into extras, but the movie moves along well with the girls doing a great job teasing Marcos. Although the movie's well done here, the little details could use a bit more effort.
