Taking the Plunge Review

Some enterprising person came up with the idea for an incredibly cheap video shoot: hire a deserted warehouse for the day, advertise for ten guys willing to spend the day having sex, and film it. With the glut of new films on the market today and the fact that this is a former VHS film now transferred to DVD to make still more from it, this doesn’t sound like one you would want to rent or buy, does it? Well, the truth is you would be passing up a rather hot little item. The reason is that the guys are all sexual dynamos and seem as though they are having a ball—rather twenty balls!

Some of the performers had appeared in porn flicks previously, but the majority seemed to be first-time performers just out for the bucks and/or the fucks. Adam Rom was a seasoned pro. (He was unforgettable in IN MAN’S COUNTRY as the one who introduced hunky Sonny Markham to sex for his birthday—sadly, Adam only works now behind the camera.) Chris Yeager and the stud-muffin Dakota had also been in other films. Others were new to porn and, while some stayed to become popular performers, others seemed to have gone back to their regular jobs. One who disappeared from the scène was Zoë, an East Berliner at the time the film was originally made who looked like the type of blond Aryan Hitler lusted after. “I suck cock,” he says in an interview. “I let people suck my cock, I fuck; I lose my erection when I’m fucked.” He goes on to tell us: “East Germans start having sex around 15 or 16.” (Almost makes one long for a return to a divided Germany, doesn’t it?)

(It’s amazing no one thinks to suck them!) Paul Carrington made his debut here also. Paul is a handsome butch stud with a fine pattern of torso-hair who loves getting fucked. (Several times he is referred to as “Manny” which must be his real name.) The others seem amazed too that such a straight-looking stud bottoms. At one point Zoë even fucks Paul with a bathroom plunger. (Hence the film’s title?) Later he gives him a German flesh flute.

Dennis Lee and Jeff Brooks are two coal-black youths that give and take equally well. (Jeff is quite pretty.) Allen Cage has a shaved crotch and a body saturated with tattoos, whose symbolism he explains in an interview.

Tony Lexus (another who went on to appear in other films) is a very fun-loving guy, as much—if not more—of a charmer than Bryce. His interview reveals his real name to be “Jimmy”. He reveals that his first gay experience was at age 12 in boarding school. “I had a crush on my handsome roommate. One day we were just wrestling on the bed and one thing led to another.” He later blossomed in high school: “Where I had the whole football team. One by one at two o’clock in the morning they’d come knocking at my door saying, ‘Jimmy, let me in’”. Naturally Tony becomes the recipient of everyone’s cum in the circle jerk finale. “I really enjoyed that!” he informs us. Then, as his body drips with everyone's cum, he looks directly into the camera and adds: “Hi, Mom.”

The secret of this film is that the performers have no inhibitions. They'll do it all! Amazingly considering the free-for-all action the camera always appears to be in the right place at the right time. Although I suppose with these guys any place would seem to be the right place. This film is enormous fun. If you’re looking for the ideal party tape, here it is. Maybe your guests will even take the hint and you too will host an orgy.
