The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I've really enjoyed most of Digital Playground's Scream series, and having this one focus on Stoya gives me all the higher expectations.

Initial Reaction: It's another very nice addition to the series with Stoya continuing her great string of releases.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there are a few background noises they seem completely deliberate to help the mood and feel completely natural. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks fantastic. There's some very nice care put into low light situations that still leave the action completely visible as well as some filters used to give the movie a feeling similar to an old film.

Music: There's a little creepy music in the background during some of the setups that does a great job in helping with the mood of the scenes. The sex, however, is music-free.

Menus: The main menu works a few clips from the movie together with a still, and a little minor animation for a pretty good first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on several clips from each scene, the name(s) of the girl(s) in it for the first chapter, and chapter numbers that don't correspond to the chapter numbers in the movie.

The Feature

Do you like scary movies? How about if there's a lot of sex in them? Digital Playground takes a few notes from horror movies lets them lead into the sex scenes with contract girl Stoya leading the way this time around.

There's nice chemistry all around the group as well as a great balance between the girls. Finally, the lighting shows very nice care with its use of low lighting. This is a very nice scene to open the movie as well as one of my favorite in the movie.

This is a nice scene. There's very good chemistry between Carmella and Derrick, and the horror theme works around the opening and close of the movie very nicely. The action is nicely captured with Carmella and Derrick moving nicely through the positions and keeping a good pace. This isn't a great scene, but it is a solid one.

After the voices in his head start to drive him mad over who he should treat, he decides to please both of them. Brunette twins Lacey and Lyndsey appear on either side in little red and black outfits to eagerly suck his cock. This scene didn't do much for me. The opening wasn't bad, but a few things teamed up to make this scene fall short for me. First, the oral action went on so long I was expecting it to end up an oral sex scene and I'm not a big fan of oral sex scenes. It also made the scene feel really drawn out. Finally, I'm not a big fan of the Love Twins. Yes, the twin thing works for me, but no matter how hot a girl is physically I'm going to have a very hard time getting into her if I get the sense that she can be outsmarted by the leftover bagel I have on my kitchen counter. Evan does a nice job making the scene a bit creepy, but I just couldn't get into this scene and it easily came out as the weakest scene in the movie.

Stoya is more than surprised when she goes to black hottie Mahlia's house to hang out only to find out from Mahlia's mother that she died two years ago and is now bringing home live girls to get busy. Stoya flashes to their time on the bed where they chat before she takes off her sweater and guides Mahlia's hand to her leg. Stoya moves in to kiss Mahlia before moving down to lick her pussy, and then moves up to grind their gashes together. She moves around to eat Mahlia from behind before laying back and letting Mahlia reciprocate, and finally they collapse on the bed together.

This is a nice scene. As usual it was next to impossible for me to not get drawn into the scene with how Stoya's eyes light up when she's getting busy, and Mahlia seems to be having a very nice time as well. The scene moves at a good pace, but it would have been nice to see Stoya receive a little more in the scene rather than having it so focused on her giving. This is a good scene, but it falls a little short compared to some of Stoya's other scenes due to the lopsided balance in it.

This is a great scene to close the movie. As usual Stoya looks great, and the fire in her eyes takes what could have been an okay scene and makes it a darn hot one instead. Yes, there's only one position to the sex but Stoya makes it count and there's more passion for one position with two holes here that I've seen in some scenes with over five positions. Once again I'll give the credit to this scene working to Stoya, as she has a charisma that's hard to find anywhere in porn today. This is a great scene to close the movie with.

Stoya Scream is a hot and fun fuck flick. As usual Celeste has a very nice horror movie framework to wrap the scene around, and although it never gets too deep there is some nice creativity there that helps it to work very well. There's also plenty of chemistry throughout the movie, with every scene but Evan Stone's taking on the Love twins working very well for me. Stoya is fantastic in all three of her scenes, and really does it all here with an interracial lesbian scene, a boy-girl-girl threeway, and an anal scene. There's a very nice flow to most of the scenes and the action is all captured very well. Stoya Scream is a very enjoyable adult movie with some nicely different setups.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery can be viewed either manually or as a slide show lasting about three and a half minutes with about five seconds per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also weblinks, a behind the scenes featurette, and cumshot recaps.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about ten and a half minutes. Stoya starts out talking about being excited about doing her first interracial scene, the view over the city, and the difficulties in finding somebody to fuck her ass. You get a few clips of fun around the set, which is no surprise with Evan Stone around, as well as a little show with Carmella as she gets dressed and poses for stills. Madison adds a little more personality and eye candy before struggling to take Tommy's size. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette. In addition to a fair amount of eye candy, you get plenty of the personality and fun you've come to expect from a Digital Playground behind the scenes featurette. This is a very nice addition to the overall DVD.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. This one's not bad at the low end. The movie is nicely done with good care put into the setups as well as the sex. The technical aspects are a touch artistic but fit the movie very well and there's a bit of effort put into the extras as well. This is a hot and fun release.
