Step It Up is a vignette-style all sex fauxcest movie from writer and director Luke Hotrod. Step It Up contains five unconnected sex scenes that offer a variety of related, but not really related, scenarios, with different types of familial relations. There are two stepbrother with stepsister scenes, two brother with brother's wife scenes, and one stepson with stepmother scene.

Each scene starts with a quick set-up, which establishes the almost familial relation of the actors and actresses characters before they go into the sex scene. At the end of the scene, there is a very brief closure to the scene.

The first scene presents a stepbrother (Kane Turner) and his stepsister (Alessa Savage) who are on holiday and end up having to share the same bed for a night. The second scene has a stepsister (Amber Deen) all dressed up for a job interview, and her stepbrother (Luke Hotrod) finds to be extremely hot. The next scene has a man (Luke Hardy) having an affair with his brother's wife (Ashley Rider). The penultimate scene has the wife (Jess Scotland) of a man's brother (Ricky Stone) who is sent over to clean his place. The final scene has a stepbrother (Dru Hermes) caught masturbating by his stepmother (Princess Paris).

Some of the scenarios work better than others; for instance, the penultimate scene seems rather far fetched. However, what will be most relevant to fans of fauxcest movies is how the actors and actresses do with the actual fauxcest. Step It Up follows the more modern familial relations movies, where the characters aren't really related but have a “familial” connection of sorts to add in a taboo nature to the movie. All of the actors and actresses in the movie do an excellent job of staying in character during the sex scene.

There isn't much to each of the openings, giving Step It Up more of an all-sex feel. However, the cast does an excellent job of conveying information through their performances. For instance, when Alessa Savage is in bed, next to her stepbrother, and she opens her eyes and makes a knowing smile conveys a lot of information.

The sex scenes themselves are excellent. Not only do the cast members stay in character, as previously mentioned, they also convey excellent sexual energy. The actors and actresses are very communicative during the sex scenes. The result is the illusion that the actors and actresses are far more familiar with each other than they are.

Overall, Step It Up is a well-done all-sex fauxcest movie. Fans of fauxcest, who don't want complex built-ups to the scene or a full-fledged story, will be in heaven. Fans of all-sex movies, in general, should also find a lot to like here due to the performances of the cast members.

Television X has done an excellent job with their streaming-only edition of Step It Up. Step It Up was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1. The picture quality for Step It Up is exceptional. The image doesn't contain any noticeable blemishes, and the colors in the movie are nice and vibrant.

Step It Up is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The movie sounds great, with clear and easy to understand dialog and no discernible issues.

Television X hasn't included any extras for their streaming-only edition of Step It Up.
