Stars (Adult Time) Review

Additionally, spoilers have been avoided, but some details of the plot are included below. Be forewarned.**

Review:
When an 18-year-old worker at a clothing store, Jane Wilde, answers an online ad for cam models, the trajectory of her life changes forever...for better and for worse. So goes Stars, an exceptional 2022 release from Wilde herself, Bree Mills, and Adult Time. Tracking the trials and tribulations--the ups and downs--of Jane's newfound path, this feature pulls back the thinly-veiled facade and offers up an authentic look at just how stars can be made these days in the adult industry. Of course, the particular star in question is Ms. Jane Wilde herself.

Moving and deep, this compelling cinematic experience will elicit an emotional response as much as it excites...if not more so. Indeed, Wilde plays the lead role to perfection, bringing forth tears, smiles, trepidation, despair and ultimately hope and clarity. She is spectacular, as are her fellow members of the cast. Further, and as to be expected from a project associated with Mills, the production values are top-notch, and the sex itself melds fluidly with the prevailing tone and storyline of the film...again, adding realism well beyond the porno norm.

In terms of the sex, Jane commands three of the production's four scenes. First--and with a certain level of apprehension and naiveté--she more or less "auditions" for her seedy camming "pimp", Seth Gamble, in a boy-girl sequence back at his place. A pop on Jane's ass closes out this hot--though detached--encounter with the questionable (at his best...overbearing and terrifying, at his worst) Seth Gamble. Next--and in sharp contrast to the prior pairing--Jane and her guy friend, Oliver Flynn, partake in a far more personal romp in her bedroom, as the webcam (accidentally, at least initially) rolls. The belly-down insertion sequences are to die for in this one...and the entirety of the scene is masterfully captured. Jane takes another cum-shot on her ass in finishing off this more lighthearted and innocent affair. Lastly, Wilde finds order and a sense of direction on one of Bree Mills' pro-porn sets, as she partakes in a steamy pound-out with the ever-charming Robby Echo. Occurring in a clean and controlled environment, Jane finds a safe space in which to professionally thrive. This fine (and emotionally-liberating) fucking culminates in a gooey facial for Wilde. (It should also be mentioned that Tommy Pistol, Aiden Ashley, and Ryan Reid turn in a strong performance along the way, as well. Tommy plays the part of an opportunistic owner of a model house and hanger-on, while Aiden and Ryan are his somewhat-airheaded free-loading models. Their bizarre, everyone-wins(ish) threesome--which involves Jane reluctantly peering in and ultimately concludes with a load on Reid's tummy and pelvis--is also well-played.)

In all, and regardless of the tenor of the scenario, Jane Wilde is a stunning pleasure to take in...and an exemplary, relatable actress capable of effectively expressing a variety of emotions onscreen. She demonstrates this time and time again throughout this fine and captivating flick, as she is buttressed by a compelling and deftly executed storyline and an extraordinarily strong supporting cast. There's no doubt that this release is award-worthy, and there's no doubt that it should be checked out.
