Starmaker (Wicked Pictures) Review

It is AVN awards time and this gives everyone a chance who votes to catch up on titles they have missed during the year. This show here directed by and starring Brad Armstrong is one such title for me. Starmaker is a big movie in every since of the word from length to the story and the fine cast Brad assembled to carry it out. Wicked contract girls Asa Akira and jessica drake are the stars of this movie and after watching you won't have any doubts as each puts in stellar work here from the sex where each gets multiple scenes to their dialogue of which they have plenty. The male cast for this was equally strong with Tommy Pistol the leading man and of course Brad and you add in Kurt Lockwood who does some great supporting work as the tough guy for Brad and jessica. The story is a sordid Hollywood tale of blackmail as Tommy wants to get the top of the writing world and just happens to see Asa in a coffee shop one day and decides she's just the right girl he can use to get to the top.

Asa is the typical struggling actress trying to make it in Tinseltown and she falls for Tommy's advances and the two end up having sex back at his place. It wasn't long before Tommy has Asa in his corner and uses her to get into a big Hollywood party at a director's house. At this party we also find jessica drake there and you can see right off she's been to one to many of these parties and would rather be anyplace else but there. Tommy uses Asa's name to get the two into the party telling her it's easier to add a girls name to a guest list as opposed to a guys and it obviously worked in this case. Once inside the two go into action with Asa first running into Brad and then later Tommy. The party was a success as Tommy ends up with Brad's business card and a meeting is set up for Asa to audition. Also at the party before this "chance" meeting Brad had indulged himself with an Asian treat having both Kalina Ryu and Kaylani Lei suck him off in the bathroom.

Moving to the next day we get more time with jessica who goes off on how bad men are but they are good at one thing as we find Kurt there licking her pussy and the two fuck ending with a pop on jessica's tits. Back to Asa and Tommy who talk about this meeting and Tommy lays it out for Asa how it will work and indeed the ole casting couch scenario does come into play at the meeting with Asa giving in and a short b/g scene takes place. This was just as jessica feared as she felt there was something off especially with Tommy who we know is orchestrating this blackmail plot on Brad who doesn't see a choice and goes along with it. So we have Asa on a movie set and Tommy there as well-- fucking two girls in Asa's trailer which turns out to not be a very good move as he's caught but not before he analizes Courtney Taylor and we had Amia Miley there too as the girls took care of his cock. Brad and Asa both give Tommy an earful or in Asa's case it was an open trailer door and clothes being thrown out to convey her message to get the fuck out!

Brad decides to send a message to Mr. Pistol and dispatches Kurt who is also working for jessica too as we've seen. Kurt arrives and gets right to the point laying it out clearly for Tommy and he also talks to Asa about why is she with this douchebag. A revenge fuck might be just what Tommy deserves and who better to help than someone he clearly doesn't like so you get Kurt and Asa going at it with Tommy sent outside the apartment to wonder what's going on, lol. Tommy is let in after they are done but he still has something to say so Kurt leaves one final message driving his point home pushing a corkscrew threw Tommy's typing hand, ouch. The story then shifts back to jessica who decides Brad's approach isn't working in getting this mess cleared up. She decides a woman's touch is needed and arranges for a massage for Asa. jessica takes over the massage after a short time and confronts Asa who doesn't want to hear it but she stays hearing miss drake out. jessica promises to make Asa a star if she's ditch Tommy and come over to their side and it was an offer in true Godfather fashion that Asa couldn't refuse- thankfully no bloody horses were used! Instead a very nice g/g scene ensues with both ladies pleasuring one another with anal toy play too. The next day Asa is dropped off at an undisclosed location so that jessica can make sure the situation is fully resolved.

Tommy obviously has no idea what's going on and when he can't find Asa heads over to Brad's place to get answers. He finds none but instead finds Jeanie Marie Sullivan who is Brad's daughter and she totally knows who he is. Tyler Nixon is there too in a non sex appearance and the two laugh about him being the blackmailer. Jeanie stops making fun, though, of Tommy and takes him to her room for a fuck you daddy tryst and Tommy's pissed too and goes along with it. This ends up playing into jessica's grand plan though maybe not in the way she intended. Tommy is sent packing by jessica who then tells Brad what happened when he arrives home later. Needless to say he's pissed and tries calling Kurt for some muscle but ends up deciding to take care of it himself with jessica going along. Brad really lays into Tommy holding a piece at his face while giving him the business. jessica sits there not far off and after reading out a scene from a script there as Brad told her to silently moves behind Brad and adds her own rewrite to the scene and it will blow your mind!

You might guess what happens and jessica doesn't leave you in suspense telling you how it ended up playing out and we close with one final scene where you find jessica in the middle of Kurt and Asa and we get a very nice three way to close the show and you have both Asa and jessica doing anal here leading to a big open mouth pop for Miss Akira and jessica is right there to get a taste as well. A happy ending for all or at least as much as you can expect in Hollywood!

Extras & Final Thoughts:

This was another epic type picture from someone, Brad Armstrong, who has grown into cranking such pictures out every year. The performances chiefly from Asa and jessica here were noteworthy and justifiably resulted in recognition for both at this years awards. Thankfully they add a second disc of extras where you see just how hard Brad and his excellent crew went about putting this great show together. It starts with a table read where the principals meet to read the script out loud for the first time, the day before shooting was to begin. There is also a fine BTS to watch too and what porno would be complete without a bloopers segment. Having been on a few sets I can safely say a they don't always get it right on the first take, or the second, or the tenth, lol. There are also three bonus scenes to enjoy and they are jessica and Derrick Pierce from the excellent parody released this year Magic Mike XXXL. You also have Asa paired with real life hubby Toni Ribas from Asa Akira: Wicked Fuck Doll and finally Kaylani Lei and Alektra Blue hook up with Giovanni Francesco from the 24 XXX parody released last year. This was another excellent vehicle put together by Brad and the cast was amazing in acting out the story and having some hot sex along the way.
