Platinum X Pictures Spread 'em Wide

| Although there has now been a couple of titles I have had some disappointment
with, I've been for the most part vastly pleased with Platinum X Pictures
so my expectations are high with this release. Especially with the hot Hannah
Harper gracing the cover of the DVD! |
| General Impression |
| A decent DVD with well captured scenes. But little chemistry and heat
with a disappointing cast. A generous 3 star rating for this Platinum X
Pictures title. |
| What I liked |
| The camera work was nice throughout the dvd and their was an effort of
intensity in most scenes. |
| What I disliked |
|
I find it difficult to enjoy a dvd if the female talent is not viewable
and in Spread 'em Wide, the female talent is not highly viewable. With
the exception of a couple of scenes, many of the women were average looking,
at best, are riddled with tattoos, or had an abundance of makeup. Additionally,
Michael Stefano, who appears in one scene, continues to repeatedly spit
and gob on his performers and I'm getting the urge to hit the fast forward
button every time his mug hits the screen because of it. This is one of
those dvd's where you surf from one scene to the next looking for an attractive,
heated scene, but never find it.

Dressed in black fishnet stockings, the scene starts with the cute
cover girl Hannah Harper having her holes fingered, rubbed and licked
by Jewel De'Nyle. Big Ben English enters and pounds Hannah in the
mish position, then into Jewel, before the two work their mouths
on his tool. Jewel does a lot of trash talk but comes across like
she's following a script. After some lengthy vag penetration on
both women, Ben penetrates Hannah's backdoor in cowgirl, doggy and
RC and Jewels ass in spooning and RC while both women perform ATM
and ATOGM (ass to other girls mouth). The scene ends with the two
girls sharing a popshot on their faces. A decent scene with a nice
amount of energy, but the chemistry wasn't there.

Courtney Divine (left, second from top box cover) gives us plenty
of trash talk and tease while she removes her pink top and panties
and plays with a dildo. A nice intro. Erik Everhard enters and we
get some well captured fellatio before penetrating her in doggy,
RC and spooning. Divine isn't the most attractive girl but the action
is very good thus far. She receives a lengthy spooning anal and
in RC position before laying back and receiving a popshot on her
open mouth. Another decent scene.

Katrina Kraven (bottom right box cover) is a slightly heavy set
brunette with an abundance of tattoos. She thoroughly fingers her
holes before Anthony Hardwood appears and has her perform aggressive
fellatio on the couch. After some lengthy mish penetration with
PTM, he moves to her ass in the same position before probing her
back door in RC and doggy ending the scene with a popshot to her
open mouth. Katrina has a pretty face, but she's butchered her body
with tattoos. Overall, a decent scene if you can look past the ink.

Scarlet Haze (right, second from bottom box cover) is a trashy
looking blonde who I've first seen in one of Red Light Districts
Just Over Eighteen series. In that scene, she also takes
on Michael Stefano. I'm not sure what's worse, having to watch this
girl go through all the same motions again, or watch Stefano repeatedly
spit on her. In any case, in this scene scarlet performs some fellatio
before having both her holes filled in mish, followed by doggy anal,
RC anal, cowgirl and spooning anal. The scene ends with Scarlet
kneeling on the floor to swallow Stefano's popshot.

| Overall Summary |
|
A decent, watchable DVD, but little to get excited about. You'll find
good camera work in each scene, but there's little to be desired with
the cast and in some cases how they were painted despite the apparent
considerations that went into overall appearances, wardrobe and settings.
That said, this one is recommendable as a rental or a buy at discount
if you're a fan of the female talent. The DVD extras include a lengthy
behind the scenes footage of each girl, a cum shot recap, a photo shoot,
photo gallery and previews of Platinum X Pictures titles.
