Initial Expectations: I’m not expecting too much, but with a name like Spankenstein I just couldn’t resist giving this one a try!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good for a fetish feature of this age. The audio starts out clear and well balanced, but gets a bit scratchy towards the end. Thankfully there aren’t any noticeable background noises. The video is much the same way. It has a little grain, but is well lit and looks very good for a fetish feature.

Music: None

Menus: The menus are pretty average. The main menu is animation free while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

After applying a pair of electric shock sex toys to a bunch of dead body parts which were sewn together, Spankenstein is brought to life. He almost looks normal, except for the scars and the hands which are about four sizes too big. With hands like that, it’s only a matter of time before Spankenstein succumbs to his true calling.

Scene 1 - Summer Cummings and Damien Black

When Nurse Sydnee leaves Spankenstein (Damien) alone for a few minutes, he’s found by Summer. She lets him smell the flowers she’s carrying, but he wants to put his giant hands to work on her sweet ass. He rips her clothes off and slaps her ass. As usual, Summer whimpers and whines as only she can. Damien starts off on her ass before moving to her pussy and around her body. He keeps coming back to Summer’s ass, however, and holds her still due to her struggling. After a bit of spanking he finally drags her into the woods, spanks her a bit more, and then carries her off.

This is an okay scene. Summer is probably the best whiner the jiz biz has ever had, but she does annoy me a little. She puts up a nice struggle which works well for the horror aspect, and that aspect was nicely countered by Damien’s huge hand prosthetics. It’s an okay scene, but nothing special.

Scene 2 - Sindee Coxx, Sydnee Steele, and Ernest Greene

When Deva’s car breaks down and she leaves to find a phone, Sindee is discovered by Dr. Spankenstein (Ernest) and his able assistant (Sydnee). The hoist up Sindee’s skirt and down her panties to give her a bare assed spanking. Ernest starts with his hand before breaking out his paddle, and even lets Sydnee move around so that she can slap Sindee’s thighs. Nurse Sydnee gets into it enough that she feels the need to get spanked as well. Sindee takes her lesson from Dr. Ernest very well, and the girls keep switching back and forth to get spanked and spank each other. They even share a little of Dr. Ernest’s tough love before Dr. Ernest and Nurse Sydnee notice some of Sindee’s finer body parts and start thinking of their next experiment.

This is a great scene! I was told that Ernest is one of the directors who really cares about the women in his movies enjoying themselves and getting off, and although he isn’t the director here, that care still shows. What shows just as much is a sense of fun through the entire scene. It’s not taken completely seriously, but it’s not treated as a joke either. It comes off like fun sex play, and the spirit of the scene makes it a winner for me.

Scene 3 - Deva Station and Damien Black

While searching for the phone, Deva discovers Summer. She tries to help her, but before they can escape they’re discovered by Spankenstein (Damien). Damien immediately goes after Deva’s derrier, and gives it a good spanking. Deva resists almost the entire time, and every now and then Summer unsuccessfully tries to come to Deva’s rescue.

This is another okay scene. It goes back to the horror aspect of the movie, and doesn’t have any of the fun of the previous scene. Both girls played their role extremely well, and Deva looked extremely cute as well. It’s an okay scene, but not great.

Scene 4 - Deva Station, Summer Cummings, and Johnny Roxxx

After rescuing the girls, police officer Johnny decides he needs to get some information for his report. He has the girl bend over and spanks them. The girls aren’t happy about this, but want to see justice done so they let him spank him and pepper him with questions. Officer Johnny needs to know things such as how many times the girls were spanked and how hard, and investigates it as thoroughly as the girls will let him.

This is a really nice final scene. It works in a bit of the whininess of the girls while also adding a bit of humor. Just like Ernest raised up the second scene, Johnny raises up this scene. It stays fun while keeping some serious spanking going, and definitely finishes the feature up on a high note.

Spankenstein is a well done spanking movie. It gives everybody a bit of what they’re probably looking for when they check this title out, including both a bit of horror and a bit of humor. The scenes nicely alternate between the two, and the girls in each scene know how to play things for the maximum effect. As usual I’m really impressed with Ernest Greene’s job, and I think he raised up the entire movie a notch or two for me. The biggest problem for me here was the horror aspect, however, as it brought in some non-consensual aspects which were played much more seriously than I’ve normally seen in spanking videos. All told, however, it works together to make Spankenstein a fetish feature that spanking fans should check out.

The photo gallery contains about eleven screens which either contain one large photo or two smaller snapshots. They normally look pretty good. There’s also trailers for Spankenstein, Spiked Heel Diaries 14, The Dresden Diary 20, and Lusty Busty Dolls. Finally, there’s internet information.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Bizarre DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $28 with most stores offering them for over $20. The low end is pretty fair for what you get here. The movie’s done pretty well but I’m not sure how much replay value it will have for most people. The technical aspects vary, but there’s actually a few extras here.

Note to Bizarre: It’s nice to see you including a few extras in your DVDs. A little more attention to the technical aspects would also be nice, but even as you are here you’re ahead of most of what I’ve seen for fetish features.
