Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced without anything to interfere with it, but it can be a little on the quiet side. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It has a touch of softness with plenty of care towards the lighting. Some of it seems slowed down slightly for romantic effects, and works well most of the time.
Disc Problems:
As with Pure Passion from Desire, the disc didn't want to play all of the movie in my players. Thankfully Soft & Sweet only had a few minutes of problems between about 13:30 and 17:30 in the third scene rather than half the disc (as happened with the otherwise nice nice Pure Passion), but it's still an ongoing problem that I hope Desire can fix in their future releases as well as in upcoming pressings of this release.

The opening tease footage can sometimes be a little long, but that's a fairly minor complaint as the girls are nicely easy on the eyes. The action is also slowed down slightly for romantic effect through much of the action, and I know this can be hit or miss for a lot of people and it wasn't too bad for me here. Leony starts things out with a nice scene and then things pick up slightly with El. Sunny has a pretty good scene with Dexter, but his severely below average pop along with the DVD's technical authoring problems definitely held the scene back a bit for me. I really liked Karol's scene with Denis and the great use of light, but Victoria's scene with Thomas was easily my favorite in the movie. Victoria gives the camera just a little more notice than most of the other girls, and that definitely made a difference for me here. Soft & Sweet gives you just what its title suggests, and if you're a couple looking for just that it's worth the rental.
