Snapshot is the best feature adult movie from 2017 that you never saw and one of the best adult movies from 2017. Snapshot is a truly excellent adult movie thriller and a love story from writer and director Shine Louise Houston.

The story for Snapshot is that photographer Charlie (Beretta James) who is going to see Carolyn (Carol Queen) for a photo shoot set up by Hanna (Lyric Seal). She accidentally enters the wrong apartment and finds a couple (Nikki Darling and Jack Hammer) in bed making love. In the surprise, Charlie's camera goes off capturing the two. However, the camera may have captured more than Charlie originally thought, a murder. Charlie ends up returning to snoop around the apartment building and is caught by Danny (Chocolate Chip), and the two start to get to know each other. While Charlie and Danny's relationship starts to bloom, Charlie finds that she is being stalked by an unknown person.

Snapshot is a lot of things all at once. Snapshot is a thriller but it is primarily a love story involving Charlie and Danny. Snapshot isn't a porn love story either, Charlie and Danny are well-rounded characters with real problems that have real effects on their blooming relationship. Beretta James and Chocolate Chip both do an outstanding job of bringing their characters to life.

The story is gripping and engrossing. Everything about the story itself is well-done too. The plot in Snapshot isn't just a throwaway one — in fact, there is so much plot there are periods that you completely forget that you are watching an adult movie. The first hardcore scene doesn't appear until a half-hour into the movie.

The sex scenes are well done and well integrated into the plot. In a refreshing move, the movie doesn't use every opportunity to jam a sex scene into the movie to jam a sex scene into the movie. As a result, the plot flows better and the sex scenes that are in the movie are more meaningful.

Snapshot's design is more like the big-budget adult films from the days of olde. The movie is filled with non-sexual roles and extras along with shooting locations that don't have anything to do with the sex scenes. The entire cast does an excellent job with their roles — be the role big or small. Snapshot is visually appealing and beautifully shot and features an excellent score by C Daddio.

Snapshot is destined to become a modern classic. From what this reviewer has seen, Snapshot was the best adult movie released in 2017 and is, honestly, one of the best adult movies made in the last decade. Snapshot may not be getting the attention that the movies from the large studios get, however, if you are a fan of feature adult movies, Snapshot is a movie that you don't want to miss!

The edition of Snapshot screened is the streaming-only edition available on Pinklabel.tv. Jiz Lee describes PinkLabel.TV as “a platform we've created to host films by fellow filmmakers whose works are indie, experimental, showcase marginalized views of sexuality, or generally don't have a good place to live on the internet. Shine [Louise Houston] created it after being inspired by the original works she saw at the Berlin PornFilmFestival.” Pink and White Productions has done a beautiful job with their streaming-only edition of Snapshot. Snapshot was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 1080p. Snapshot looks beautiful with a crisp and clean image and beautifully rich colors.

Snapshot is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The audio for the movie sounds great with clear dialog and no defects that could be detected. Snapshot also has English, German, Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and French subtitles.

The only extra that Pink and White Productions has included for their streaming-only edition of Snapshot is an essay on the movie by the writer and director Shine Louise Houston.

Snapshot is a perfect example of what an adult feature movie should be like. The plot is captivating; the acting in the movie is excellent; the sex scenes are great; the movie is beautifully shot and scored, and all these different parts work together in perfect harmony to create an excellent adult movie. Snapshot is a modern classic and is also a must-see adult feature movie. Pink and White Productions has done a beautiful job with their streaming-only edition of Snapshot on PinkLabel.TV with excellent audio and video quality.
