Smokin' Hot 2 (Platinum X Pictures) Review

General Impression
I was expecting to see five good sex scenes, and that's what the DVD delivered. I've seen some of the ladies before, but the others also turned in some credible scenes.

Sex Highlights
I think every scene had something to offer viewers. For example, I really wanted to see Eva Angelina, so her role in the opening three-way caught my attention. But of course, Lorena Sanchez isn't chopped liver, either, and she turns in a nice effort. Tia Tanaka has an interesting look, and while comparatively quiet (at least compared to her fellow actresses in this video), she delivers a decent and consistent level of eroticism throughout her scene. As for Holly Morgan, despite a vocabulary limited mostly to "yeah, yeah", she looks rather cute here. (It must be the pouty look). Quite frankly, though, the best stuff is in the last two scenes. McKenzee Miles demonstrates an award-worthy passion for sex and awesome deep-throating skills that captures your attention. (I haven't considered myself a major McKenzee Miles fan to date, but I must admit, she has delivered good sex scenes time and time again). The final scene features Bobbi Starr, who is very pretty and soon trades her relaxed poise for some hard-pounding anal and DP action.

Negatives
For some reason, the DVD's covergirl, Holly Morgan, isn't in the Behind the Scenes segment. (But everyone else is). Moreover, this was the first time I got to see Eva Angelina and Holly Morgan, but it seems that their performances were eclipsed by the final two scenes.

The DVD
The technical aspects are, for the most part, very solid. The extras include a Behind the Scenes segment that has Lorena and Eva joking around during their sex scene. As for scene progression, there is only a minimal emphasis on pre-sex interviews, which frees up video time for the more action-packed sequences.

Summary
Platinum X Pictures has put out some good stuff before, and Smokin Hot 2 is a continuation of such a wonderful product. As such, if there are any Bobbi Starr or McKenzee Miles fans out there, their skillful performances in this DVD could be worth their time and money.
