Sister Snatch Review

For those who belong to a more recent generation of porn viewers, or for those who are new to the genre, the woman appearing on the cover of SISTER SNATCH may not be too familiar. If your only knowledge of porn superstars is limited to girls who have appeared on Howard Stern or MTV, such as Jenna Jameson, Janine, or (God help us all!) Houston and Jasmin St. Clair, then you are in for a treat. In this porn reviewer's opinion, far surpassing those ladies in both looks and talent is the one and only Leena, a smoldering, auburn-haired beauty with a stunning, tight and tanned body (admittedly, enhanced by silicone) who simply sizzles whenever she is on-screen. Although her best movies have yet to make their appearance on DVD (such as LEENA, EIGHT IS NOT ENOUGH, THE LIVING END, JURANAL PARK , BLINDED BY LOVE among others owned by Odyssey Video), there is a healthy handful of some of her work, and since I have yet to see a single lackluster performance from her in any movie, these DVDs are certainly worth getting: I LOVE LESBIANS, CHEATING, INTIMATE JOURNEY and SEX 3.

However, SISTER SNATCH has always been one of my favorite videos of hers, and I was pleased as peaches to see have the opportunity to review it on DVD [thank you, Ms. D!]. From the opening frames of the movie, where we see Leena calmly but teasingly eating strawberries in a manner that would make Nastassia Kinski envious [anyone see Roman Polanski's TESS? If not, then forget the reference --- and yes, I know it was a book before a movie], she simply looks terrific, radiating sexual charisma which provides the perfect warm-up for her fiery sex scenes. But although Leena is reason enough to get this DVD despite its technical problems (which will be discussed later), living legend Tiffany Mynx also puts in a co-starring performance which make this video a must-have. The former BUTTWOMAN and perhaps the hottest performer in adult movies of the 1990s, Ms. Mynx is equally amazing in her fuck and suck scenes, and having both girls in SISTER SNATCH is like having Jet Li and Jackie Chan in a single martial arts flick ---- if it's action you want, it's action you will get.

Sexy, but seldomly seen cutie, Chante gets thing under way with the annonying, wannabe long-haired rock and roller Alex Sanders. Dirty blonde and thin, but with an all-natural body, Chante is an underrated performer who has yet to earn the fan- following she deserves. Her appearance in the Buck Adams-directed NO MOTIVE was a definite sexual highlight of that cops-and-robbers porn film, and she performs just as well in this video. Of course, she becomes completely upstaged by the fabulous Leena, who casually walks in on then amd proceeds to give a blowjobs and ride on his cock like no one else can. Their threeway is a mult-positioned, energetic fuckfest which might have been even better if Mr. Sanders weren't so damn lazy during the entire scene (he lets the girls do most of the work, the spoiled bastard!).

Leena then meets her match with the incredible Tiffany Mynx, and their girl-girl scene is as wildly erotic as anything I have ever seen. The contrast of Leena's tight, olive-skinned figure intertwined with Tiffany's fair-skinned hardbody is a sight to behold, and the way they use their sex toys on each other border on the dangerous. The only misgiving I have with their sapphic loving is the lack of any deep, passionate kissing which is probably the hottest activity any two women can do. Of course, I don't expect too much tenderness in porn, but a little face- sucking would have gone a long way. In any event, both girls eventually get to strut their stuff one-on-one in two separate straight scenes, and it's tough to determine who is the more dynamic performer. Tiffany looks great with her white high heels raised in the air while getting pumped by Steven St. Croix, but Leena is pure sex when she does the wild thing with [Oh, no...not again!] Alex Sanders. It's a tough call, and will probably take many repeated viewings to make an informed decision, but my faith in Leena is unshakeable. Either way, their individual scenes generate more heat than most DVDs do in two-hours worth of vignettes.

The weakest scene on the disc is a lackluster, by the numbers tryst with the forever scowling Nick East, and the repulsively over-enhanced and garishly made-up Rebecca Wild. Certainly, I have nothing against surgical enhancements when done in moderation, but Rebecca simply looks ridiculous, and will probably only appeal to those who like grotesquely big tits. Hers is not the worst boob-job I have ever seen, but when combined with her bleached blonde mane and caked on make-up, I have no choice but to speed search through this throwaway coupling.

As good as the majority of the content is on this disc, it also has some technical problems which are careless and could have been easily avoided or corrected. This is all the more surprising since the first three PUSSYMAN DVDs (produced by Snatch Video) released by Digital Playground exhibit no faults whatsoever, The very end of the movie shows Leena cooing and moaning through a masturbation session while the credits roll. Although the scene is clearly an outtake, anything which Leena does is visually captivating (hell, she could be pumicing dead skin off her toes and I would still be transfixed by her beauty and natural sexiness...maybe). Suddenly, however, the credits and her scene come to a dead halt and the DVD stops. Clearly, whoever transferred the video did not allow it to finish or else unceremoniously cut the whole process short. While credits are usually at the very least a secondary concern when it comes to enjoying the DVD, it is unfair to cut Leena off while she is busy doing work.

Furthermore, although the image of this DVD is sharper, brighter and clearer that the VHS, the picture is also loaded with noise bars, drop- outs, and scratches like a rental tape. I have no idea whether they used the original source material, or what in creating the DVD, but again, someone definitely fell asleep at Snatch Video's quality control department. The extras include the standard chapter selection function, a series of still photos, and trailers for a few Japanese produced videos.

Still, SISTER SNATCH is not a disc I could possibly pass up. The sequel, titled appropriately enough, SISTER SNATCH 2, is another Snatch release which I hope soon sees the laser- light of day, because any video in which Leena has ever appeared deserves preservation on the DVD format.
