Stylistically, the movie has a dark vibe to it, the lighting is generally a bit dark and the editing allows scenes to shift between group performances and one on one set-ups, in a sort of dreamlike manner. There isn't a story line, but the scenes are broken up by interludes with some "pimp" guy discoursing between scenes.
The style of the movie most closely resembles Eon McKai's Kill Girl Kill series and Jack the Zipper films like "Blacklight Beauty" (Zipper also directed the dvd Razordolls), though there is a a more low-budget feel here.
Highlights: There are some attractive girls here. Some of the action is quite good, even if the set-ups don't generally make any sense. There is some nice girl on girl action, group action and one on one MF scenes.
Drawbacks:
At times the camera angles and lighting aren't very good.
Riley Mason only appears in a brief tease segment and disappears before the sex starts in the scene with Reagan Maddux, so Riley fans shouldn't expect much from her here.
There isn't anything in the way of extras, only some trailers for Vonn Fink and Jack the Zipper features.
Who should pick this up? Fans of the performers, and fans of goth and punk women.
Who should probably avoid this one?
People wanting very professional looking feature style porn.
People wanting to anal. (only one anal scene here, and it's not shot very well).
People checking this out because of Riley Mason (she's hardly in it.)
Conclusions: I like this disc, but I think it could have been executed a lot better. I felt Fink's Suthern Cumfort showed a lot more promise than this. Added to that, the package is a bit bare bones: the menu here isn't put together very well, the editing at times just seems confusing, and there are no extras. All in all, I just feel like this could have been a lot better, which is the frustrating thing. This feels to me like it should have been a stellar release, but as it is, it's just a decent one. So what is here is good if you are a fan of this style, and of these types of performers, but it isn't a must have.
