I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty well done for homemade porn. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, with some scenes being almost silent while others have a few minor background noises. Each installment of the Shot at Home series collects scenes from four different Shot at Home releases. Each scene starts out nicely letting the viewer know who the performers are before moving on with the action.

I think Summer and Scott might have my favorite scene here, but every scene in the movie worked very well for me right down to the night vision oral scene between Ann and Dante. Yes, there's some camera motion and lighting blemishes, but this is all true homemade porn with people who are far from professionals. What they might lack in finesse they easily make up with a chemistry that's hard to find in any professional porn as well as a spirit of fun, excitement, and exploration that's even more rare. Shot at Home 8 is a fantastic porn collection that I can't help but highly recommend.

In addition to having plenty of variety, every scene has an abundance of chemistry and is nicely captured. The technical aspects show some very nice care for homemade porn, and there's a touch of effort put into the extras with a long preview reel. This is a very impressive homemade porn release that I can't help but highly recommend.
