Initial Expectations: It's been a long time since I've checked anything out from Shane's World, but I always remember them putting out an all around great DVD. I can't help but look forward to this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio gets a little crackly at times during the frat party, but is nicely balanced throughout most of the movie. The video is presented in the full frame format. It gets a little dark at times, but for the conditions the movie's shot in it really isn't bad at all. When one considers the locations the movie was shot and the limited crew, this is a very good looking and sounding movie.

Music: There's a little music here and there, but for the most part the sex is free of music.

Menus: The main menu nicely takes the style of the cover and works in a bit of the movie. The chapter menu, however, is sadly generic and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature

When most people think of Florida, they think of a huge rat in front of a castle and ladies with blue hair waiting for God to call their number. That isn't true for Shane's World and their College Invasion crew, as they think of Gainesville being one of the biggest party schools around. Here Delilah Moore, Sandra Romain, Memphis Monroe, Erin Moore, Jack Venice, and Kyle Moore head there to party and get laid.

Scene 1 – Erin Moore, John, and Sly

College Invasion 8 is a very fun reality porn flick. It does a very nice job balancing the time partying at the frat house with sex back at the hotel, but never loses the fun feeling. There's plenty of fun games, but perhaps the best parts at the frat house involve some of the girls as the Shane's World group sees what kind of fun they can have with them. Erin and Memphis really shine throughout the movie, but Delilah seems a little underused by not getting any action back at the hotel. Sandra does a nice job with the sex, but also seems a little underused by not getting into the partying too much with the others. That said, I really can't complain too much with nine scenes being in the movie and none of them coming off as duds. The scenes also have a nice feeling of reality through them rather than feeling like they're all staged for the camera and highly choreographed. The entire movie has that feeling, and it's such a relief from the typical porn that even though College Invasion 8 has some minor faults, that feeling helps the movie rise far past its minor faults. College Invasion 8 is a very fun porn that nicely stands apart from the typical porno.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for College Invasion, College Invasion 4, College Invasion 6, Shane’s World: College Guide to Anal Sex, Shane's World 31: The Life & Times of Drunky Bear, Shane’s World: College Guide How to Get More Pussy, Girls Night Out, Nerdz, Shane's World 38: House Party, and Asian Vacation, as well as a commercial for Shane's World toys. It's a great selection of trailers and a hilarious commercial, but sadly there's no menu to let you easily choose which trailer you'd like to see and each trailer doesn't have it's own chapter, which makes them a bit hard to navigate. The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with roughly eight seconds per very good looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also a behind the scenes featurette and interviews.

The interviews last nearly twenty three minutes. They nicely work around the entire Shane's World cast talking about who they are, getting hooked up with Shane's World, and the fun at the party. They also talk about the rest of the group and the trip, and don't seem to hold much of anything back. It nicely works around the entire cast and doesn't feel like it glosses over things. I really liked how it worked around the cast for each subject rather than going person to person, and although the comments aren't all nice, they do all seem realistic. This is a very good collection of interviews.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twelve minutes. Erin and Jack start things out talking about tits and ass in the airport while waiting for their luggage, with Jack trying to score with one of the chicks here. Jack talks about some huge and hungry chicks he met going down the street as they chow down before they all plan things for at the party. After a little time at the party, they head out to recover at a pizza place the next day. There's even a little time with the group partying at a club. This is a fun behind the scenes featurette. There's plenty of personality from the stars as well as a little time filled in on the trip. If you enjoyed some of the personalities in the movie, you'll probably really enjoy this featurette as well.

Currently, many of Shane's World's DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $25 with only a few stores offering them for under $20. This one's well worth the money. The movie's long, fun, and has plenty of sex. The technical aspects are well done for how the movie's done and there's some very nice effort put into the extras. This is a very nicely done DVD.
