Initial Expectations: For the most part, the Shane’s World series has been extremely good. This one has a nice cast which should provide some hot sex along with being a fun feature.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear and well balanced. The video is just as clear and looks great. The only thing that comes close to being a problem for the video is a few flashes when the photos are taken.

Menus: The main menu is very plain with a little animation. The chapter menu is very simple and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip and a short description.

The Feature: Smalley Pauley hosts this installment of Shane’s World. This time around, Team Shane’s World splits into two teams to compete in a scavenger hunt. Unlike most scavenger hunts where you try to find things, here they have to do things. They get 30 points for streaking down a residential street or bringing a stranger into their car and masturbating in front of them. There’s never a running total of points, so you never know who wins until the last moments.

The entire cast is a lot of fun, plus with the setup of the series you get to see them as real people rather than just as porn stars. This can be bad, as in Shane’s World 21: Cliffhanger, or good, as it is here. Shane’s World 22: Scavenger Hunt is a lot of fun and one that people should just buy rather than waste the time renting. It’s definitely got enough replay value!

Extras: The movie side of the DVD only contains web links and an audio commentary with Salena Del Ray and Alana Evans. Salena and Alana talk about pretty much whatever comes into mind. They talk quite a bit about what else was happening that you didn’t see on camera, but also about what they like sexually, their experiences with the other people in the movie, and pretty much anything else that comes into their minds. Alana also gives a nice talk about anal sex, since Salena hasn’t done it and Alana does it often. There’s a little dead air, but the two girls play off each other enough that it’s not too often. The dead air also normally occurs during the sex scenes, so I’m guessing Alana and Salena were a little too into the movie to talk at those times.

The second side of the DVD is filled with extras. Bios are included for everybody on both teams. They include a photo of the star, a little personal information, and a listing of other features the star has done for Shane’s World. Trailers are included for Sky’s Day Off, Shane’s World 25, Slumber Party 13, and Pornological 2. The photo gallery includes about thirty five excellent looking framed photos. The photos include scenes from the movie as well as things that were cut out.

The lost footage lasts over thirty seven minutes and starts with Voodoo giving a nice summary of what’s happening in the movie. There’s some great footage with the chicken suit for both teams. Team 2 does a rap, puts on a little bit of the girlie show between Salena and Charlene before giving the guy a handjob, give a guy a shave down under in a limo, and masturbate for a guy. There’s a long segment where Team 1 brings a stranger into the limo to masturbate for, and has him help them out by sucking their toes. Note to Digital Sin / Shane’s World: Although I’d like to see more of this series on DVD, you’re proving it worth the wait with DVDs like this. I hope you have further scavenger hunts in the future!
