REVIEW:
More Wicked for me--and I've got even more on the reviewing horizon for those who are interested.  This one features Kaylani Lei in two of the six scenes, and I love Kaylani.  I just think she is uber-hot, and totally the MLyons' type.  Shameless is a sort of vignette themed feature, although there is no dialogue anywhere to be found.  The vignette aspect is strictly based on the visuals--a la Andrew Blake style, only on video instead of film, and with honest to God sex rather than just girl-girl petting.  Toni English, the director, has been around for a long time, and I only remember seeing one or two of his features before now.  I do remember liking Vivid's Extreme Sex quite a bit back in the day--particularly Tammi Ann's scene with Tom Byron while he was in his long haired, rock star phase.  It's been a long while since I've watched it though, and my standards may have risen since then.  Anyway, there's a nice cast here, and I'm looking forward to some serious eye-candy at the very least.

Kaylani Lei, Randy Spears

Yep, this just reinforces it.  Kaylani is a hottie--and how.  This scene is set in a fancy pool / Jacuzzi combo that's dressed up to look like a rock waterfall.  It takes place at night, and the lighting is well done enough that although it's a little dark, you still see pretty much everything that counts.  Kaylani starts out in a red dress with some nice, silver heels with straps that sneak up a little on her calves--and that's the kinda thing I just go nuts for.  Randy is presented well too, and he starts by licking her luscious legs as they peek out of her dress.  I'm such a sucker for legs, especially when they're Kaylani's.  Before long Kaylani sits down and offers her pussy for Randy to lick, which he dutifully does.  She gets on all fours and he fingers her while stroking his cock in anticipation, and after Kaylani gives him one of her signature, eye-contact laden blowjobs, he finally gets to put himself inside her.  ::sigh::  Visually this all looks very nice, although there are no sounds of the performers themselves in this scene--for whatever reason they've masked it completely with music, and I find that frustrating.  After a couple vaginal positions, Randy comes on her water beaded stomach, and that's the end of it.  It's visually wonderful--but beyond that, this scene lacked any real passion or immediacy.  It's really too bad--I've seen much better scenes featuring Kaylani.

Marie Luv & Sascha

Marie is a very pretty black lady with a great, thin body, and a particularly fetching face.  The setting is a sort of warehouse, or garage where Marie is driving a forklift full of tires and encounters Sascha.  The environment is particularly beautiful, with really interesting lighting that accentuates the performers' bodies nicely.  There is no dialogue, and the sex starts silently and deliberately as Sascha lays Marie on a bed of tires and eats her out.  They transition to the seat of the forklift where Marie then sucks Sascha's cock.  After that follows the gentle fucking, in various vaginal positions before Sascha eventually unloads a fair amount of cum all over Marie's stomach and chest.  It's a really nice looking scene, but aside from what we see there really is no context to these "vignettes" so far, and given the somewhat muted sexual performance, the absence of a reason for the pairings was particularly conspicuous.  As far as really nice looking and well captured eye-candy, this disc is proving to deliver the goods very well, but at the same time, it's all a little too lifeless for me so far.

Kaylani Lei & Evan Stone

I can't complain when Kaylani is featured more than once in a movie.    Predictably, Kaylani looks awfully yummy here, although I preferred her look in the first scene over this one.  Evan Stone is looking suitably studly as well.  This one is set "on the ranch" as it were, starting out with Evan arriving on a horse and then carrying Kaylani off to a barn to do the deed.  I don't know what it is about this scene, but it seems quite lifeless to me.  Perhaps it's the limitations of the set, but it doesn't seem like they had an easy time putting the camera where you'd most want it to be at any given time.  There's also a bit too much soft-filtered shadow going on for me to see everything that I wanted to see.  Beyond that, they progress through some pussy licking, cocksucking and a little cowgirl and missionary before Evan finally unloads on Kaylani's fucking flawless breasts.  Again though, there's something off about this scene.  My infatuation for Kaylani notwithstanding, I had a hard time getting into it.  The performers didn't seem to connect in a sexual way, and the way the action was captured just didn't do either of them justice.  I have a feeling, though, that I what I found to be flaws might be perks to another viewer.  In any case, for me, the scene just didn't work very well.

Violet Blue & Manuel Ferrara

Violet has been around a while, and she still looks just as girl-next-doorish and yummy to me as she ever has.  It's really great to see Manuel step out of the Platinum X/RLD fold for a brief moment and lend his considerable talents to another company for a while.  My understanding is that Manuel can't do any all-sex/gonzo releases for other companies because of his agreement with Platinum X, but perhaps this release is classified as a feature for his contractual purposes, and that's just fine with me.  I believe he's one of the best male performers in the business, and when a really talented guy is part of a scene, that can make all the difference in the world.  This scene is no exception.  Although the music maddeningly masks most of the sounds of the performers here, there are certain moments of chemistry and visual interaction that really bring home the fact that these two are having sex with each other just as much as they are having sex for the camera.  Manuel really comes off as a lover of women, and he shows it here in tiny little ways that are hard to express.  The backdrop is a sort of freeway underpass area, or perhaps an unfinished construction site, and the latter half of the scene takes place with a strange pink truck in the background.  It's cooler than it sounds, and certainly more beautiful than you'd expect a location like that to look.  The natural sunlight brings highlight and shadow that beautifully shows off Violet and Manuel in ways that most all-sex or even vignette fair refuses to.  And, as I said, there are wonderful little moments--glances, smiles, kisses and even just simple sharing of personal space that makes this scene a bit special.  They copulate with some vaginal, and a little anal sex before Manuel delivers a fantastically intimate cumshot across Violet's gorgeous breasts as they kiss each other.  It really is great, and I attribute a lot of this kind of on-screen intimacy to the talents of Manuel and Violet.  I think it's such a shame that Manuel is contractually limited to Red Light District and Platinum X as a gonzo performer.  This is a nice scene, and all those great moments manage to come across even though the scene is pretty much exclusively visual.

Barbara Summer & Tyler knight

Barbara looks as good as I've ever seen her look here, and you can take that to mean she looks pretty damned good.  She's a pretty blonde, dressed in a pornified schoolgirl outfit, complete with plaid skirt.  Tyler looks damn fantastic as well, as have most of the men in this movie so far.  What really makes this scene striking, though is the way they've painted the environment with light.  There's a black hummer in the background with its headlights on, and behind that are two powerful fixtures piercing through a haze of smoke.  More than that though, they've just created a beautifully lit scene that requires much more work than just turning on a hummer's headlamps and a couple powerful back lights.  Look at the pictures if you don't believe me.  It's got all the contrast you could ever want, but still manages to keep everything perfectly visible.  It's this kind of stuff that makes watching Wicked's movies worth any shortcomings they might have with their less adventurous sex scenes.  Unfortunately in that area, this scene isn't an exception to the rule--besides the pussy licking and cocksucking, the only other position exhibited is a standing doggy.  It looks great, don't get me wrong, but well... it's that old problem of balancing eye-candy with sexual performance, and in Wicked's case, the eye-candy usually wins out.  I can't complain too much though, the effort made to make this scene look as good as it did is worthy of praise.  I just wish the sex itself were a tad more interesting.  Tyler finishes himself off with a small load onto Barbara's tongue, and that, as they say, is that.

Nicole Sheridan & Voodoo

I've never been particularly in love with Nicole Sheridan, given her manufactured breasts and the somewhat harder edged look of her face, but I have to say, she looks mighty wonderful here.  The setting is the ornate pool and jaccuzzi area that we saw in the first scene with Kaylani, only this time, in the daylight.  They spend most of their time on the wall separating the pool from the jacuzzi.  Nicole, in the first part of the scene shows off her gorgeous legs to grand effect while Voodoo licks her out, and again while she's sucking Voodoo's cock.  I just love women's legs.  It's one of the mysteries of the universe that I don't care to analyze, and for some reason Nicole just gets me where it hurts in this scene.  They progress through some vaginal positions, including a standing doggy where Nicole's leg is again conspicuously lovely as she drapes it over Voodoo's shoulder, and then in a half spoon position where she sticks one of her stems straight up while he fucks her.  Eventually, Voodoo cums on her pussy and stomach, and yet another lovingly captured, but frustratingly distant scene comes to a close.

EXTRAS:
Bonus Scene : Kaylani Lei & Evan Stone from One Night in Vegas: 14 Mins.  This is a nice scene from Stormy's directorial debut, One Night in Vegas, where Kaylani is visiting Vegas on a last excursion before marrying her fiance.  While in Vegas, she allegedly gets drunk and has sex with a stripper, Evan Stone.  This is the encounter between Kaylani and Evan, as recounted by Evan's glorified memory.  It's a fun, and light hearted scene, and Kaylani looks as good as she ever does.
Bonus Scene : Kaylani Lei & Brad Armstrong from Eye of the Beholder:  15 Mins.  In Eye of the Beholder, Kaylani has just come home from the hospital where she's literally just gotten a new pair of eyes.  She's eager to "see what she's been missing" with her husband Brad Armstrong, and they have a little fun on their couch.  It's a gentle scene of the "making love" variety, which is a little less interesting to me than having some kind of edge to the encounter, but I find it hard to complain when I'm looking at Kaylani Lei naked and fucking under any circumstances--especially when it ends in a facial.  A fair scene, and certainly a worthy extra.
Take 5 With the Cast:  17 Mins.  This is a really nice behind the scenes featurette.  Most of it is comprised of interviews with some of the performers, and they're great, honest interviews that don't fall into the porn-fluff trap.  Included are talks with Kaylani, Randy Spears, Violet Blue, and Voodoo.  Good stuff--worth watching for those interested in the business of porn from the performer's perspective.

OVERALL:
Well, as far as pure visual spectacle goes, I thought this was a great disc.  The girls look fantastic, the sex is nicely captured, and the environments are quite beautiful.  As far as sexual intensity goes, however, that's another story.  With the notable exception of Violet Blue and Manuel's scene, there really isn't a whole lot here that rises above your average "by the book" feature fair.  Violet and Manuel, for me at least, managed to demonstrate something special that the rest of the scenes lacked.  They had a connection, or at least they convinced me they did, and something about the subtleties of their pairing spoke to me in a very erotic way.  That was my favorite scene on the disc, even if I think Kaylani was easily the best looking girl of the bunch.  I was a bit disappointed that there was absolutely no dialogue, or inkling of story to be found here.  I thought that as a vignette release it would at least offer more in the way of context than a pretty environment and sexy clothes, but such was not the way of things.  Instead it relied on the silent, music driven, Andrew Blake approach to vignettes--certainly no less valid an approach, but not the one I was hoping for.  I also found it odd that the sound-scape was inconsistent.  In some scenes, the mix favored the sounds of the performers over music, and in others, there was scarcely a moan to be heard.  I would rather have heard more of the former, but perhaps that's just me.  Truly, though, for sex fans of the gentler persuasion and particularly those who appreciate good production values, this is a title that's well worth checking out.
