If You Liked This DVD, You Should Enjoy
Metro's Shades of Sex line or Vivid's Color Blind line

The scene between Tyce Bune and Kimi Gee is a prefect example of why Shades of Sex 2 did not work for me.  Take an over-the-hill woodsman, an Asian girl now with ridiculously huge fake tits, and throw in a weak-ass cumshot, and you shouldn't even need to ask why I didn't enjoy it.  In general, the average-looking cast, the poor lighting, and the weak finishes to the scenes make this one of those budget titles that looks good on the boxcover but fails to deliver much enjoyment on the inside.  It's like a kitchen sink casserole:  all of these ingredients are thrown in, and while the end result is edible, you wish you had thought to order pizza instead. 

There are a couple of scenes that save this title from complete mediocrity though.  The first is Cheyenne Silver's scene with Jake Steed.  Dressed in a cheerleader-like outfit, she walks in the room and begins giving Mr. Steed head.  Even though the sex doesn't look as raw as it could have due to the required condom, it's still great to see her get plugged by a massive cock.  But still the scene was a mixed bag because of the cheesy synthesized porn music and the popshot in Cheyenne's eye (ow!).

The other redeeming scene is the coupling between J.J. Michaels (one of the palest in the business) and India (one of the darkest).  It provides a very telling contrast, especially as she blows him.  I don't care for the platform shoes that she wears during the scene, but believe me, it's not her shoes that I'm watching!  The anal in the scene is well-received and reminds me of a sword-swallower ("Watch, ladies and gentlemen, as the sword vanishes into her body!  Amazing!")

But in general, there's nothing on this DVD that would keep me from trading it for something else.  It's not a stinker, just fairly average.  If you're like me, you have a lot of DVDs, and this is probably is one that will just take up space rather than be a frequently viewed disc.  Even if you're looking to grow a small collection, I'd recommend you take the money you would have spent on this disc and spend it on the better Color Blind series from Vivid Raw.
