The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Seymore has impressed me with most of what he’s done, and he and Shane always made a great pair. I’m looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: It’s light and fun and does a nice job of showing why Seymore and Shane were considered one of the best teams since George and Gracie.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting fun action with a girl - girl emphasis

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see mostly straight action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good, especially since the movie is nearly ten years old. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there are a few background noises, they always feel like they belong in the scene. I don’t think I heard a single background noise that didn’t feel like it belonged in the scene. The video is also nicely done. There’s a little grain, but not much. The entire movie is slightly dark, but not so much that it interferes. Instead is seems to be more of the dark end of average lighting. There’s a few camera shakes, which is standard for Seymore and his style, but once again, nothing that’s so bad that it interferes with the scenes.

Music: There’s a little music here and there through the movie, but it’s more part of the background than anything.

Disc Problems: As usual with Seymore’s DVDs, the cover claims stretch things a bit. Seymore lists a running time of two and a half hours, while the movie isn’t even two hours. If you include the extra footage it reaches that two and a half hour mark, but I don’t know of any other adult company who lists the total run time on the cover. Since the cover states Running Time and doesn’t specify whether it’s a total time for the entire DVD or for just the feature, I don’t blame anybody who picks this DVD up for feeling misled. This is the biggest problem with Seymore’s DVDs, and something that I really hope ends soon.

Menus: The menus are fairly simple. The main menu looks decent and has a little animation. The chapter menu is also pretty simple, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene.

The Feature

Seymore and Shane are back, and they’re about to do some traveling. Shane’s booked to feature dance in Dallas, Toronto, and Indianapolis, and with Seymore and Shane you know it’s going to be a fun trip.

Scene 1 - Shane and Chelle

Seymore and Shane walk in on Chelle riding the Sybian and watching one of their movies. Shane immediately notices that Chelle doesn’t have it close to turned up all the way, and helps her to get off. They kiss before Shane moves down to suck and play with Chelle’s tits. After getting Chelle off with the Sybian and moving her to a sex swing, Shane dives in down under. This is a classic Seymore and Shane styled scene.

Scene 2 - Shane, Melanie Stone, and Seymore Butts

At the 2300 Club in Dallas, Shane gets it on with Melanie in her dressing room after the show while Melanie’s husband Hunter watches. This is a fun and hot scene.

Scene 3 - Shane and Jordan Michaels

In Toronto, Seymore’s sent to the car to get Shane’s strap-on so that she can work on Jordan with it in a between shows quickie. When he gets back inside, he finds Shane and Jordan about to get busy on the bed. They talk briefly before Shane starts munching away on Jordan’s muff. Scene 4 - Shane and Seymore Butts

This is an okay scene, and fairly short as well. The camera didn’t show close to what I wanted to see, but at the same time I realize that Seymore uses a fairly limited style. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. The sex is good, as Shane gets into it quite nicely, but the style didn’t for me.

Scene 5 - Shawna and Seymore Butts

Shane brings Shawna back to meet Seymore next, and tells him that Shawna’s been having a bad day and needs a bit of a pick-me-up. They strip down a little while admiring each other before Seymore has Shawna sit back in a chair so that he can tongue and finger her twat. They head back to the hotel room where Seymore gives Shawna’s great ass a spanking before tonguing her holes. This is a very nice scene. Seymore and Shawna have very nice chemistry, and Shane does an excellent job behind the camera. Shane’s camera work is a big part of why this scene worked for me, as she got several shots that I like which Seymore normally doesn’t get. I also love how they worked the condom into the scene, and think if more people did this there wouldn’t be so many complaints about them. This is a very good scene.

Scene 6 - Shane and Seymore Butts

As soon as they get to Indianapolis and check out the paper, Seymore and Shane get it on. They don’t bother with any warmup, and instead Seymore goes right to fucking Shane from behind. Unfortunately they’re interrupted by the phone, and don’t get to finish things up right away. Luckily they have ten minutes before the show starts after Shane changes, so she insists they finish. She sucks Seymore’s schlong to get Seymore ready and then bends over for him. Seymore’s worried about time, but Shane insists there’s plenty of time for him to fuck her ass. Finally, Seymore pulls out and pops in Shane’s ass as it closes as well as all over it.

This is a slightly different scene due to the pacing and break, and is also fairly short. It still works due to the chemistry between Seymore and Shane, as well as Shane’s overall attitude, but it does feel a bit rough. It’s an okay scene.

Scene 7 - Shane and Christopher

After Shane’s last show, Seymore finds Shane getting ready to get it on with Christopher in one of the closets. Shane sucks Christopher and even gives him a little titty fucking as she sucks him. Finally she strokes him into the air to finish things up.

This is an okay scene at best. It’s fairly short and quick, but just didn’t really do much for me. I’m not really into oral sex scenes too much, and Shane’s slutty side where she has to get it on with apparent strangers doesn’t do much for me either. I’m sure some people will enjoy it, but it’s just not my type of scene.

Seymore & Shane Live! On Tour gives you just what you’d expect from Seymore and Shane. The scenes are fun and light, and everybody always looks like they’re having a lot of fun. There’s a little anal action, but the action never feels nasty. Instead it feels natural, which I think is a big part of why Seymore became known as such an anal sex expert. He makes it feel like a normal part of sex rather than something extreme and dirty, like so many others out there. Of course, having a female like Shane along for the ride and driving things much of the time doesn’t hurt things either. The two of them make a great team here, and having Seymore follow her on a bit of a feature dance tour gives this a good structure. Seymore & Shane Live! On Tour doesn’t always hit on all its cylinders, but it does do so enough that you’ll want to check it out if you’re a fan of either of them.

Bonus Scene - Flower, Mari Possa, and Seymore Butts

The bonus scene lasts almost twenty five minutes, and I think comes from Tongue in Cheeks (it’s not labeled so I can’t be sure). As Seymore starts things out brushing his teeth he’s interrupted by Mari Possa and Flower who want to fish him a proper goodbye before they take off. They drop down to team up on his cock before Mari slips around back to eat his ass, and trade back and forth so that both girls can get the full taste of Seymore. They even give each other a little oral attention, working in a bit of kissing and sucking each other’s nipples. Finally Seymore spews his seed between their beautiful faces and onto Mari’s tits. It’s a fairly small pop, but the girls do what they can with it and finish things up with a kiss.

I’ll admit right away that normally oral scenes don’t do much for me, but this one is smokin’. Part of the reason the scene probably worked so well for me is Seymore’s style. It has the usual Seymore opening blending fun and reality, and keeps it going throughout the sex. It also has great chemistry through the entire scene which makes you feel like everybody involved is having the time of their life. Flower and Mari work together amazingly well, and it’s no wonder Seymore has kept them around for as many movies as he has. By the time this scene is done, it should make you feel four things: the need to see more of Flower, the need to see more of Mari Possa, and the need to check out Tongue in Cheeks and see more of what Seymore can do. The only problem here is that if you don’t know anybody other than Seymore here, you can’t do that because there’s nothing on the DVD to let you know who the girls are or what movie the scene comes from.

Currently, many Seymore Butts DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $28 with several stores offering them for around $20. The low end is very fair for what you get here. The movie’s fun and has some great heat. The technical aspects are very good for the age of the movie, and there’s even a bit of care put into the extras. This is another very nice Seymore Butts DVD.

Note to Seymore Butts: It’s great to see you putting care into your extras on older movies with bonus scenes like you’ve done here. In the future, please label the scenes and who’s in them so that fans can make sure to check out the rest of the movie if they like the bonus scene. Also, please watch your cover claims!
