The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good, but not quite up to what I normally expect from Seymore. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, as always. The video, however, seems a little weak here. There’s a little grain and the lighting seems a bit low at times. There’s also a few very minor remnants which appear. It’s still a heck of a lot better than the stereotypical gonzo porno, but not quite up to the extremely high standard it seems that Seymore normally holds himself to.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp, which is one of the little things that always stands out to me. Quite often I don’t have the time to watch a full movie, and I also like to jump back to specific spots in a movie. With a time stamp you can jump to specific instances in a movie and with many players leave a movie to come back to the specific instant you left off. Without the time stamp you’re stuck going back to the chapter breaks only. From what I understand it takes almost no effort or cost to include a time stamp, so whenever I come across a DVD without one it always seems a bit cheap to me or like whoever made the DVD didn’t really care that much about the people who are buying it.

Also, as usual, the running time listed on the cover is a total running time for the DVD. Seymore is the only person I know who still does this, and it’s more than a little confusing because it’s just listed as Running Time on the cover, which I think to most people means the running time of the feature. Yes, the total running time is over three hours for this DVD, but the extras last nearly an hour which makes the three hour running time claim a bit deceptive. I really hope that Seymore drops this practice in the future as it’s the biggest negative I can see about his DVDs.

Menus: The main menu is nicely animated and gives a good first impression. The chapter menu is very generic and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Yep. Seymore’s back and this time he’s, well, who really cares. It’s a Seymore movie! There’s not really anything for a plot except for sex breaking out all around Seymore whether he has to go out on a date or just has a few friends over to help him rearrange his furniture.

Scene 1 - Darla Crane, Wanda Curtis, Seymore Butts, and Herschel Savage

Darla starts things out laying back on a bed and letting Seymore work her over with his tongue and a toy. He starts with the toy in her pussy and moves it to her ass. This is a nicely done scene and lasts over fifteen minutes! I really like how Seymore started the scene out slow with Darla, as well as how he kept the pace nice and easy as Herschel and the girls took care of each other. Nobody in the scene seems like they want to see how quick they can get off, and instead looks like they want to see how long they can make their pleasure last. There’s also plenty of very nice chemistry here which helps the sexual marathon feeling work rather than making it feel like the action is just being dragged out as far as it will go. This is a great scene to start things out with.

Scene 2 - Flower and Seymore Butts

When Flower shows up a bit late to meet Seymore, she has to join him in going to a fundraiser complete with a limo ride. They talk during the limo ride about Flower’s sex life while she continually flashes her great smile before she strips down to only her skirt and shoes. She lets Seymore grope her and suck her perky titties before he moves his mouth below the belt. This is a nicely done scene. It’s short, but Seymore and Flower both put plenty of personality into it and make it seem like more than the tease it is. Scene 3 - BellaDonna, Cherie, Flower, Herschel Savage, Chase, and Trent Tesoro

The entire problem with the scene is Chase. The girls look to cover for him pretty good, but you can see that he’s struggling the entire scene. He looks to have plenty of wood problems and I don’t think it’s anything close to a coincidence that you don’t see him pop here. Thankfully the rest of the cast here does a great enough job that he doesn’t ruin the scene constantly, but he does bring it down fairly regularly.

Scene 4 - McKayla Matthews and Seymore Butts

When Seymore returns from the shower, he finds McKayla taking care of herself with a toy she found in his drawer. You don’t get that here, and because of it this style of Seymore’s scenes doesn’t always work that well for me. It’s still a pretty hot scene, but it could have been better for me.

Welcum to Casa Butts is another nicely done Seymore Butts movie. Everything one has come to expect from Seymore is here. You have light and fun setups, hot girls, and plenty of anal sex and squirting. The girls all team up to put in the anal portion of things, and all do an excellent job of it. The squirting is a bit more limited, and all provided by the amazing Flower. I’ve only watched Flower in a couple scenes, but so far she’s amazing and seems to be a perfect Tushy Girl. She has a killer body, an excellent attitude, she isn’t afraid to take it in the ass, and she squirts so much that if she had been within three blocks of Mrs. O’Leary’s cow Chicago would have never burned. I think the closest thing I can come to finding something to complain about is some of Seymore’s style. Yes, I know that this also gives the movie a bit of charm, but it doesn’t always work for me, such as in the last scene and some of the time in the limo when there’s a few lighting problems. Yes, it’s a very minor complaint but it was a complaint for me. Welcum to Casa Butts is still a very nicely done gonzo feature that’s worth checking out for anybody wanting some light and fun gonzo porn with plenty of anal action and squirting.

The Extra Stuff

The bad news is that the only extra is a behind the scenes featurette. The good news is that it lasts nearly fifty minutes. Unlike most behind the scenes featurettes, this one isn’t heavily edited. It starts in the middle of the first scene and keeps rolling through the shooting of the sex scene as well as the breaks for almost twenty five minutes. You get to see the stars both as performers and as people, including a bit of screwing around. The second half of the feature deals with the orgy scene, and starts with the setup of the scene with the girls walking in. This one is cut up a bit, but works just as well and looks like it might have a little extra footage in addition to the footage of the scenes being shot. Thankfully there isn’t a lot of stuff dealing with Chase’s problems, but if you’re curious about that you should definitely check out Seymore’s Family Business series from Showtime. Overall, there’s some nice extra footage here and it definitely makes for a very nice extra.

The sex is hot, the technical aspects are nicely done, and there’s some nice attention paid to the extras in the form of an extremely long behind the scenes featurette. This is a nicely done release.

Note to Seymore Butts / Pure Play: With the exception of a couple very minor things here you had one heck of a great DVD here. The only real sad part about it is that the problems seem to be spread all over your DVDs. I hope you find a way past them very soon.
