Audio /Video Quality:
As always with New Sensations, the technical aspects are top notch. This movie looks every bit as good, if not better, than most of what you'll find on late night Skin-e-max.

Watermark Warning:
Although I don't know of anybody who likes watermarks, I can understand companies wanting to take some kind of action to protect themselves with how much piracy occurs in today's world. As I know some don't agree with this thought, I will note that there is a tasteful watermark in the lower right corner that's so light that I'm not sure if comes and goes through the movie or if it just fades into the background that well. If one has to do a watermark, this is definitely the way to do it.

The Movie:
Jacky St. James has made no secret of her disdain for the crap that is 50 Shades of Grey, and The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee is another of her movies that plays around fetish and domination themes while doing so in a way that unlike 50 Shades of Grey, has a brain and believable emotions. The story here revolves around the sexually repressed Anna Lee, played by Maddy O'Reilly in what's easily one of her best performances, who goes to the Variel House run by India Summer and Steven St. Croix. As she goes through her very unconventional therapy Anna meets Emmett (Xander Corvus), who's also seeking freedom from his sexual past, and the two of them quickly notice a spark between them that they're both afraid to set free. Naturally the therapy leads to plenty of sex, and it nicely progresses around Maddy and Xander's therapy until they can finally try to leave their sexual pasts behind them.

As solid as the acting and story is, the sex is just as good. India Summer opens things up with Johnny Castle as part of Maddy's therapy, and delivers a scene that's every bit as solid as one has come to expect from both of them. Xander takes on Natalia Starr next with a nice kinky touch that works very well for the story and his character, as well as being darn hot. The sex returns to Maddy's therapy for the next two scenes, first with Steven St. Croix taking on dirty blonde sexpot Jessa Rhodes and then for India and Johnny to join Jessa and Steven in an excellent tease for Maddy. Finally Maddy and Xander hook up with another touch of kinkiness that seems like a perfect sexual end for the movie. The sex all has a nice bit of kinkiness to it, but still remains couples friendly without dumbing things down. Just as important, it also seems very natural for all of the characters.

The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee is an amazing adult feature. I know I shouldn't be surprised by this with Jacky St. James doing the writing and directing, Eddie Powell on the cameras, and Gabrielle Anex editing, but even with those high expectations this one blew me away. This is one of those adult movies where everything just works. Yes, it's a bit artistic, but it works so well with the fetish nature of the movie, and for me made it all the more couples friendly as I think it helps it to be more approachable for couples without really dumbing anything down. It also helps that everyone here does an amazing job. This is a top notch cast whether their clothes are on or off and they make every moment of Jacky St. James' excellent script come to life extremely well. If you're wanting something with a bit of kink to watch with that special someone, or if you want to see how much potential fetish can have for adult features, make sure you pick up a copy of The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee.
