The Short Story

Initial Expectations: This series has really been growing on me and Celeste has put together a great cast here. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: The positions are limited, but the setups are fun and the sex has nice chemistry.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced, but unlike most Digital Playground movies, there are a few background noises which pop up. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen, and although it does have a few artistic effects added, looks very nice. It's clear with smooth camera handling, and has some nice tinting and effects added that worked well for the movie instead of fighting with it.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu nicely blends a bit of animation, a few clips from the movie, and a bit of the cover still for a good first impression. The chapter menu is pretty basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a clip of the scene, a chapter number (which doesn't correspond to the chapters in the movie), and the name of the girl involved in each scene for the first chapter in the scene.

The Feature

The Sexual Freak series works as much with style as it does substance or the cover girl. This time the cover girl's Lacie Heart, which means you get to see her in multiple scenes, and the substance builds itself around women in control.

Dark haired hottie Shay starts out in some sexy black lingerie asking Scott if he thinks she's sexy while running her hands around him with black tape over his eyes and mouth and his hands tied together as he kneels in a bathtub. She doesn't appreciate him telling her that she's crazy instead of sexy, and writes “Shay is Sexy” over his chest in a marker while mixing in a few slaps for him. Shay makes Scott beg to suck her tits before he moves down to eat her pussy, and then rewards him with a bit of cocksucking as he removes the tape from his eyes and wrists. She turns around to let him fuck her from behind before straddling the tub as she rides him reverse cowgirl style. Shay lets Scott have a little more oral action as they go back to fucking doggie style, and then finishes it up taking a very nice facial from Scott.

This is a hot and fun scene. Shay does a nice job dominating Scott to start the scene out, and as usual looks fantastic in black. There's nice chemistry and energy between them, and Shay was more than impressive handling a very nice facial from Scott. My only complaint here is that although the scene has a nice length, another position would have been very nice. Still, this is a very nice scene to start the movie with.

Lacie is a bit amused to answer her door and find Scott there with a paddle wearing only a jockstrap. She laughingly inquires about it being pledge week again and he tells her that he has to have her paddle and then sign him. After Lacie gives him a good spanking, Scott gives her ass a barehanded slap in return and then moves in to worship her holes orally and play with her ass. Lacie sits up to suck his cock in return before turning around for him to fuck her. She gives him a little more head before riding him reverse cowgirl style, and turns around to show off her ass and let Scott play with it as she rides him cowgirl style. Scott moves on to spoon her ass before letting Lacie have a facial that she partially swallows down.

This is another hot scene. The opening is fun and helps to build a little chemistry right away. There's nice energy and vocals between them, and Lacie takes the anal very well. I would have liked a little more anal here, but the swallowing finish does a nice job of making up for it. This is another nicely done scene.

Sammy starts the third scene out in a little black dress crawling over to Tommy asking how his day was and letting him know how hot she thinks he is before asking if he wants to play a trust game. Tommy eagerly agrees, so she has him get naked for her telling him that she'll be right back. When she returns she has Tommy stand up and wraps him up with shrink wrap while promising him that he'll never forget it. When Sammy return next time it's with questions like if he loves her, who's panties she found, and who's number is on his cell phone before telling him not to be scared and opening up the shrink wrap to suck his cock. She questions him a little more on the panties and phone number with Tommy denying any knowledge of each, and after a bit turns around to sixty-nine him. Sammy rides him cowgirl style before letting Tommy out of the shrink wrap and letting him pound her reverse cowgirl style. She turns back around for a little more cowgirl fucking before sucking him a little more and letting him fuck her doggie style. Finally, Tommy lets Sammy have a nice pop over her chest before she sucks out the last bit.

This is a good scene. Sammy looks great and has nice chemistry with Tommy. The trust game is fun, but is held back a little because Sammy can't quite keep a straight face through it. She does put out some nice energy and a good looking fuck so the scene recovers nicely, but the touch of intensity it might have had never quite shows up. This is a good scene, but not quite up to the same level as the others.

When “schoolgirl” Lacie, in a knee length black skirt, a white button down shirt, a black tie, and black horn rimmed glasses is tossed aside being called a “nerdy little fuckface” by Scott as he reads a porno book on a bed, she returns in a short black skirt, tube top, stockings, and black gloves with a crop to punish him. She keeps slapping him with the crop when he refuses to put the book down before moving up to ride his tongue as he lays back on the bed. Lacie rewards Scott with some enthusiastic sucking and stroking before sliding his shaft into her snatch and riding him cowgirl style. She sucks him a little more before turning around for the reverse cowgirl and letting Scott play with her ass. Lacie also lets Scott spoon each of her holes before laying back to take another nice facial from him.

This is another very enjoyable scene. I love Lacie's going from geeky girl to bitch in control, and she lays into Scott pretty good with her crop. There's very nice chemistry between them as well as nice energy, but I was a little disappointed that the positions weren't mixed up a little better from before. The only difference between the two scenes for positions is that Lacie's earlier scene with Scott started with a bit of doggie, but beyond that they both have them fucking in both cowgirls and then spooning with a bit of anal mixed in. This is a hot and enjoyable scene, but a touch more variety would have really helped it out.

As British hottie Carmel lays back in a chair using Tony as a footstool she lets him know that she's sick of him acting like such a pussy all the time. She has him take command a bit, and he has her worship his feet while talking about being his little whore. After a bit Tony lets her suck his cock and ride it reverse cowgirl style. Carmel turns around for a traditional cowgirl ride before letting Tony fuck her from behind, and then finishes things up with a facial and a smile.

This is yet another enjoyable scene. Once again the positions seemed a touch limited, but the foot fetish setup adding to the woman in control theme was a very nice touch. As usual Carmel looks great and puts out some very nice energy and vocals, and as usual for the movie there's nice chemistry and a fun feeling. This is a very nice scene to end the movie.

Lacie: Sexual Freak 9 is a hot and fun addition to the Sexual Freak. I always like scenes with the women having a bit of control, and Celeste does a nice job with that idea here. The setups are fun but also have a touch of an edge to them many times. For the most part the cast does a very nice job with the setups, with Scott and Lacie easily being the most fun, but Sammy Cruz does drop the ball a little here by not playing it seriously enough. Sexually the scenes are well captured and have very nice energy. The positions are a bit limited, however, with the action being heavily dominated by both cowgirls. I'm honestly not quite sure how the scenes kept from falling into a rut with me because of this, and I can only think that it's due to the fun setups and the chemistry in each of the scenes. Lacie: Sexual Freak 9 has a few faults, but is still a hot and very enjoyable release.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery can be viewed either manually or as a slide show lasting a little under four minutes with about six seconds per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. Trailers are included for Pirates 2, Island Fever 4, Deeper 10, Cheerleaders, Katsuni: Video Nasty, Jana Cova in Blue, Pirates, and Jack’s Teen America: Mission 18. There's also cumshot recaps and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about ten minutes. After a little audio around the set, Brah Bones introduces the shoot and the group has a nice laugh at Scott in his jockstrap. There's a bit of him shooting the scene with Lacie and screwing around with Robby and chatting with Shay behind the camera. Shay also chats with Sammy and they joke around with Tommy before Carmel finishes things up with a little bit of boobie and a little more fun with the cast. This is a fun behind the scenes featurette. There's plenty of laughs around the set it it gives the entire shoot a look like it was laid back and fun. There's a few nice bits of personality, but more than anything this one seemed to be about being fun and that made for an enjoyable featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. The low end is a very fair price for this one. The sex is hot with nice chemistry and fun setups, but the positions are a bit limited. The technical aspects are good, but there are a few background noises unlike most DP releases. There's also a bit of effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is a nicely done DVD with hot and fun scenes.
