renewed and revitalised relationship with Evil Angel. From titles with
more than a hint of slasher flick about them to vignette scenes where

Nacho's intent to unsettle and provoke the audience is clear. While the
psycho-thriller trappings of Back 2 Evil continue, his natural preference
for strong, physical sex is prominent. Apologies in advance for the extravagant
length of this review once more, but there's too much to say. You can
always jump to the conclusion.
This Is My Place - Julie Silver and Angel, with Nacho
Following from the opening described above, Nacho, for it is he, takes
charge of the girls. The blonde is Julie Silver, infamous Czech exponent
of circus trickery; the brunette is Angel (AKA Belissima in Hardball 21
and Big Natural Tits 9, Elis in OutNumbered). After ordering Julie to
lick Angel, Nacho takes over fingering her and licking her, then manhandling

face. As the camera now focuses in more closely on the sex action than
the stark situation, you may realise this isn't exactly light-hearted.
However, my concern is really to see something that feels "real", for
want of a better word - especially from Julie - and there appears to be

are crudely pawed. She's dragged by the hair to doggy, there are breaks
for Julie to suck, and it's her spit that eases, if that's really accurate,

on taste - for me, this scene is well judged, unrefined rather than really

As you may tell from this lengthy description, it's hard to succinctly describe all that goes in this astounding scene. I'm not alone in having a hankering
for Brazilian girls of late, but the movies and scenes I've seen recently
of beautiful girls perhaps inadequately directed, perhaps too readily
going through the motions, have only partly met my fantasy idea. It may
well be an inaccurate stereotype, but I understood Brazilian girls to

thing or two! This scene is one of two I've seen this year that demanded
instant replay (the other being Alicia Rhodes' scene in Back 2 Evil from…you

Overall
Let's finally get to the point. Sex Thriller is not perfect, neither in
terms of content or technical quality, with a fair slice of material that
I could conceive some viewers may find undesirable. For my taste, it's
tremendous. Even if it weren't for that outstanding final scene, it would
score highly but the finale really takes it to another level. In that
scene, and more generally, I appreciate the interplay and varied premises
making for intriguing takes on sex, sexual roles and sexual control. I
suggested at the outset that it seemed Nacho was out to unsettle the audience.
To that I'd add provoke, stimulate, challenge…not to mention seriously
turn you on.
I am not given to great proclamations; therefore I shall refrain from
claiming Sex Thriller to be Nacho's best work. I shall just float the
idea for your consideration. With only sporadic visual creativity, this
may not be as superficially polished as Back 2 Evil but it's every bit
as compelling, being something of a halfway house between his newer, more
considered and creative approach and his looser, rougher style. I always
appreciated the latter anyway and am prepared to forgive flaws of camerawork
or editing that are still apparent here (some of the sound editing is
quite dodgy, actually), simply because the aptly-named Sex Thriller delivers
such a high level of quite exceptional action over the course of its roller
coaster ride.
DVD Comments
I've no quibbles about the picture quality, though more technically critical
viewers may find fault. Any inadequacy fails to impact. The sound is a
little inconsistent - I feel the editor has perhaps taken a few too many
liberties in cutting up the sound to cover up director's instructions,
for example. Sometimes the moans and groans are blatantly mismatched with
the images, and it's also slightly noisy and slightly indistinct in places.
I was also a little disappointed with the extra footage and the behind
the scenes. Each runs to a few minutes only, with little insight or extra
enjoyment gained. There's also a photo gallery, cast list, filmographies
and website info. The Evil Angel fetish menu also allows you to jump to
