Sex Sounds is a featurette-style adult short film from writer-director Missa X. A featurette-style short film is one where there is a substantial plot segment, a sex scene, then a conclusion. The plot in a featurette-style scene is more complicated than one would find in a vignette-style scene but far shorter than one would see in an actual feature film.

In Sex Sounds, Elena's (Elena Koshka) mother Alexis (Alexis Fawx) is dating Tyler's (Tyler Nixon) father. One night Elena ends up going to Tyler's room while their parents are ravaging each other trying to seek solace from their sex sounds and Elena catches Tyler masturbating to their parents going at it. However, Elena finds herself masturbating thinking about Tyler.

Missa X has created a beautiful short film with Sex Sounds. The imagery in Sex Sounds and style in which Sex Sounds is shot looks lovely. The camera shots look excellent and the time was taken to take small sequences that give the short film a complete feel, something that is often forgotten in adult movies these days.

Both Elena Koshka and Tyler Nixon give excellent performances, in both the sexual and nonsexual portions of Sex Sounds. Both of them really bring their characters to life and make the viewer believe they are the people they are portraying. The story, by Missa X, aids in the viewer being drawn into the characters, which is well-done and keeps the viewer interested throughout the short film.

Elena Koshka and Tyler Nixon both give a great sexual performance in Sex Sounds. Their sex scene gives the feeling of intimacy, and both project the taboo nature of their coupling well, which helps the mood of the sex scene. Both performers also stay in character during the sex scene, which is a significant bonus.

Sex Sounds is a beautiful short film from Missa X. Viewers that enjoy fauxcest scenes should find a lot to love in Sex Sounds.

Sex Sounds is presented with an English MPEG Stereo audio track. There aren't any noticeable issues with the sound quality during the short film. The dialog in the short film is clear and easy to understand at all times.
