Initial Expectations: I really like Juliana Kincaid and Kimi Lixx, and Wit Maverixk has been pretty good behind the camera. I’m going into this one with decent expectations.

Audio /Video Quality: As usual, VCA has put some nice effort into their technical aspects. The audio is clear and well balanced, without any sign of background noises. The video has a slightly soft feel, and although there’s quite a few shadows, they seem natural and tastefully done rather than making the feature feel cobbled together by somebody who didn’t know what they were doing.

Music: The music has a soft rock / techno / electronic feel that’s nicely different from most of VCA’s music. Unfortunately, it’s normally so loud that I could barely hear the performers, which brought most of the scenes down noticeably for me. Surprisingly, though, it’s not in every scene, which also makes the scenes without music feel a little odd.

Menus: The menus are pretty standard for VCA. The main menu is unanimated, but has a nicely different design that helps it to not give a cheap or bad first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the leading lady in that scene.

The Feature: Sara (Cameron Cain) thinks she has everything she needs, so now it’s time to give something back. She takes care of her friends with her company, which provides erection services, without ever expecting anything in return. Her friends are grateful, but also worried since she’s giving away services so fast that her company might go bankrupt.

Herschel Savage sends the plumber away from Juliana Kincaid’s house so he can offer her his erection services instead. Juliana’s a cute dirty blonde, and although she recently added a pair of bolt-on tits, she’s kept them very tasteful and found somebody who can do the job right. Steve Hatcher walks in to tell her that she’s servicing the wrong guy, and should be taking care of him rather than the furnace repairman. Here, I rarely saw this in any position other than doggie, and never with the anal. It held back the scene for me, which is too bad because I really think that it had the potential to be a great scene rather than a decent scene.

Juliana is the major focus of the scene, even when she isn’t being worked on by the others. It’s a bit of an odd threeway lesbian scene, but works very well if you like Juliana.

Sindee Coxx gets it on with real life hubby (and excellent cameraman) Baz in the penultimate scene when he tries helping her with the broken copy machine. Servicing Sara is a decent porno, but nothing overly special. The sex is pretty average, and almost all of the plot is just a thin excuse to have people fuck. That’s not always a bad thing, but here it feels so obvious that I started to wonder when the pizza delivery guy was going to show up. Cameron Cain’s acting ability didn’t help my thoughts on this any either. She does a great job once the sex starts, but her non-sex performances were downright laughable. The sex scenes also had a few problems for me. First, the music was so loud in some of the scenes that I’m not sure why they even left in some of the actual sex sounds, which always brings a scene down for me. Also, the camera seemed to like long close-up shots, which is something else I don’t care for. I want to see both the penetration and the reaction of the people fucking, and I rarely saw that here. This came close to killing Kimi Lixx’s scene, and made it feel very odd because every time Kimi’s face was shown she was smiling and talking with the guys. The scene skyrocketed for me at these points, but it kept going back to close-ups. The main thing that saves Servicing Sara is Juliana Kincaid, who does an amazing job in all three of her scenes as well as her non-sex scenes. Every time I saw her acting, I couldn’t help but think that this movie would have been much better if she and Cameron had traded roles. They can both do sex great, but Juliana has an acting ability that Cameron either doesn’t have or hasn’t found yet. In the end, there’s some good sex, bad acting, and a fairly weak storyline that makes Servicing Sara feel like your stereotypical porno.

There’s also a photo gallery that lasts about two and a quarter minutes with seven seconds per very nice looking full screen photo. There’s also internet and contact information, as well as VCA’s Wall to Wall option that lets you watch the movie without all the fast forward fodder.

Overall: Currently, most of VCA’s DVDs can be found online for between $17 and $25 with many stores offering them for around $20. This seems a little high for what you get here. The movie’s okay, but nothing really stood out for me. The technical aspects are nicely done, but as usual, there isn’t much to the extras.

Note to VCA: It’s nice to see you following Day and Date releasing so well, but an extra or two would sure be nice, especially when they’re a credit going to the guy who apparently did a behind the scenes featurette! Seeing things like that in the credits make it look like you were rushing the product so much that you sacrificed the quality of it.
