Over the period of December 5th through December 8th, 2002, Mrs. MLyons (my wife), Speelie (another ADT reviewer) and I were the guests of Patrick Collins and Elegant Angel.  We spent time visiting their facilities and giving them feedback from the consumer's point of view about their adult video content--especially as it related to their DVDs.  This was a singular opportunity for me and in the process I was fortunate enough to meet several of Elegant Angel's directors (including William H.), administrative personnel, and even some of the talent that they employ.  Conversely, they were able to get feedback from three fairly representative porn fans in order to improve their product.  This disclaimer is offered to the reader as a warning about any possible bias either for or against Elegant Angel that I might exhibit in my reviews subsequent to this visit.  I will, of course, make every effort to remain as true to my gut feelings as possible, but in the interest of full disclosure, I feel that this disclaimer is necessary.

REVIEW:
William H. has a great sense of humor along with an unapologetic propensity for perversion. He's at his best as a director when he's able to take both those aspects of his personality and combine them into a unique balance of comedy-laden sexual insanity. I recently reviewed Glazed and Confused #4--a blow-bang movie in which I thought he was particularly successful at this. Semen Demons #2, is more of an all-sex themed vid where all the girls are heavily made up with the beginnings of an over the top goth theme and then dipped generously in the cess-pool of fishnetty, tight-skirty, sex-potty porno-style. I'm not sure how much I'll like it, but I'm tellin' ya right now, the cast alone is enough for me to give it a try. Between Tiana, Katja, Nautica, and Sandra, I'm pretty much rearin' to go before I've even got the disc in the player.

Tiana Lynn, Kyle Stone, Dick Nasty & Two Other Guys.

Well, immediately I'm questioning my interest in the goth theme. Tiana is made up in a suitably over the top goth-whore fashion, complete with some very dark "eyeliner" that not only lines her eyes, but basically covers her entire lower forehead. It's a bold look, but well, to me it takes what's so great about Tiana Lynn away from her. That honest girl-next door look that she has is bled dry with her sprayed hair and her showy, lip curling expressions. After the initial presentation, four guys show up for a blow-bang, which Tiana gives in her signature energetic style. There's nothing particularly noteworthy here that Tiana Lynn fans haven't seen before, and her only squirting action comes at the very end of the scene after her mouth is duly filled with cum. Although she's great as always, I found it disappointing for a Tiana scene, but then again my lack of interest in the porno-goth theme may have a lot to do with that reaction. Your mileage may vary.

Sandra Romain & One Guy

Now I'm faced with the possibility that I may have judged this disc a little too quickly.  Sandra is gothed up but good here.  She's in a very revealing tight wrap of thick cross-crossing straps, and boasts a sort of subdued Max Hardcore, lipstick clown look with pink painted all over her lips and across her cheeks.  Finally, her eyes are blackened with makeup all around them.  Don't let that description fool you though--she looks surprisingly hot, and anyone who knows Sandra Romain knows that when she starts to fuck, her "hottie-factor" just jumps up ten-fold.  This scene is no exception to that axiom, and after some brief oral action, Sandra takes her partner's dick straight to the ass hole in a very hot, moody, and high energy scene that I really enjoyed.  The only drawbacks in my eyes was that the scene seemed frustratingly dark at times, and there was a fair amount of ass to pussy action, and I just wish they wouldn't do that for health reasons.  Regardless, though, this was a really rockin' scene with a really sexy woman--most of which takes place on one of those leather, strappy sex swings that suspends from the ceiling.  After a bunch of anal-centric fucking, he swings her around and shoots his load across her cheek and into her mouth.  She swallows and plays around on her swing while laughing like a child--a nice, wacky William H. moment before the scene fades to black.  I must say, Sandra is addictive to watch.

Katja Kassin & One Guy

Although I think Katja is not looking her best here, I know that some people will just eat her up.  She's got the boxom, big-assed look down, and dammit if she doesn't make it work.  I love watching Katja fuck, she's one of the best in the business in terms of that rare combination of unique beauty and hypnotic sexual expression.  The setting is a back alley (or at least the facade of one) with a somewhat squeeky and decrepit wooden bench beside a metal sign that says, "Bitch Parking Only--all others will be slapped".  The environment is raw, and dirty, and blessedly, so is the sex.  Katja deep throats her extremely well hung partner as best she can, and that is saying something.  Before long she's getting pussy and ass fucked in the usual positions, including a fair amount of both reverse cowgirl and traditional cowgirl anal, which shows off her substantial, and I might add, glorious ass to grand "in your face" effect.  Like I said though, Katja is not looking her best here, and truth be told, this isn't the best work I've seen her do either.  But Katja on a bad day is still more than worth watching.  He deposits a rather wimpy load onto her tongue, and she finishes out the scene laughing playfully at the camera.

Victoria Sin & Brandon Iron

Victoria is the least gothified girl on the DVD, I'd say.  Her vinyl top, and her black eyeshadow certainly offer the hint of it, but by comparison to the rest of the girls, Victoria looks practically normal.  That's not to say she doesn't look hot as fucking hell here, though.  She does.  Brandon gives her a workout on what looks to be a markedly uncomfortable set of fake rocks, perhaps in some indoor studio somewhere.  The rocky backdrop looks interesting mind you, and I'm not complaining, but I'll bet the performers were.  In this case, though, I have to say that their pain is worth my pleasure.  Victoria looks great with her fishnets and perfect, milky white body, and Brandon is decidedly gentle with her here--which is a nice change of pace from most of the harder scenes I've seen him involved with in the past.  She gets a fair amount of cocksucking in, and then some pussy fucking.  Finally the inevitable ass-fuck finished off this relatively short scene.  They go through a few different positions on the rocky set, and Victoria looks great and is really an enthusiastic trouper in all of them.  After he unloads on her lips, it's all over rather quickly.  Time to nurse those scraped knees and gritty elbows.  I'm glad they toughed it out though, the eye candy was worth it.

Nautica Thorn, Jake Malone & One Other Guy

Nautica looks fuckin' great here.  She's a small girl from Hawaii with dark, ratted, sprayed hair, that looks just whorishly fantastic, and her body is just flawless in that great balance between supple smoothness, and tight youth.  Damn does she look great.  Jake Malone and another guy I don't recognize take her on in a two on one amidst a somewhat odd half industrial, half science fiction setting.  She deep throats cock.  She gets fucked like a minx and demands more, and there's even a great interlude where the guy's service her feet and high heels with their tongues as she gives them orders.  The scene drags on a bit, not because it gets boring, but because there's sort of an implied hope, and anal teasing that gave me the impression that Nautica was eventually going to take it up the butt... which I REALLY REALLY wanted to see.  Maddeningly, that never happens, and because of that I found the ending of the scene a bit anticlimactic.  Ah well.  That's just my selfish longing taking over.  She does get pussy-fucked with great energy, though, and can't fault her for her performance (although it is distinctly American at times, with some excessive verbalizations).  Both men (neither of whom you could even remotely call attractive, I might add) eventually cum in Nautica's pretty mouth, and she drools it out and laughs as the scene fades out.  This was a really good scene--if only they'd followed through with the anal.  ::sigh::  Oh well.  I'm happy to take what I can get.

EXTRAS:
Bonus Scene with Deja Daire from Glazed and Confused #4: 15 Mins.  This is the "Gothic Whore" blow-bang scene with Deja Daire and four guys from Glazed and Confused #4.  It's a fitting extra here, obviously, and a pretty nice one, as I liked this scene quite a bit.  For more specific info about it, see my review of the movie.
Behind the Scenes:  11 Mins.  This is some behind the scenes footage featuring mostly William H., Tiana Lynn, Nautica Thorn and Sandra Romain.  It's really a lot of fun, and captures some of the more light-hearted moments during the shoot.  It made me smile, especially watching Tiana, who's so full of positive energy it's addictive.  There's also a rather odd "do you like...?" interview between William H. and Sandra Romain, where by the end, she's giving him a well deserved "this guy is truly nuts!" look.  It's all fun, and well worth watching, I'd say.

Easter Egg: 3 Mins.  Yes there is one, and it's worth finding for fans of William H.'s sense of humor.  :)

OVERALL:
After what I felt was a bit of a false start with Tiana Lynn's scene, this disc turned out to be surprisingly good.  Tiana's scene was limited in its appeal because besides Tiana not looking her best, it's only a blow-bang scene, and afterall, I've seen Tiana in plenty of those before--and looking better than she did here.  Glazed and Confused #4, or Supersquirt is a good place to start to see what I'm talking about.  After that though, things started to get very interesting.  The vid-caps of Sandra Romain that I pulled don't do her justice--when this girl starts to fuck, watch out.  She's positively hypnotic to watch, and she's an anal pro to boot.  Katja's scene was a relative disappointment for me, but the last two scenes definitely had some great moments.  The disc definitely has that William H. "change of pace" thing going for it.  The girls don't look like they normally look, and after all is said and done, I embraced the bold choices.  Nautica looked especially fuckable, and were it not for a frustrating anal tease with no follow through, I would easily have counted her scene as my favorite on the disc.  Not to worry though, the Europeans give you plenty of anal to go around, and they do it in fine style.  

Except for the fun behind the scenes segment in the extras, William H.'s sense of humor is not so much in evidence here, but his skill with a camera and his wonderfully perverted instincts are plenty well represented.  If you're looking for something a little different that doesn't skimp on some nasty sex and enthusiastic performances, I would definitely recommend this one as a rental at the very least.
