Initial Expectations: This one sounds interesting!

Initial Reaction: There’s enough of it that’s obviously faked that I lost interest in the movie before the first scene was done and barely found anything to draw me back.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes voyeuristic styled sex scenes

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting real security camera footage

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects leave plenty to be desired. The entire movie was filmed and then the technical aspects played with to approximate real security camera footage. One scene will have crystal clear audio and the rest will have audio where the background noises drown out the performers. There are places where the audio completely disappears, and you can sometimes hear the performers being given directions. The video is much the same way. Some of it is black and white while others are in full color. The only thing connecting the video is that it’s all fairly fuzzy. It was so fuzzy that I started out drinking straight vanilla brandy (the good stuff made at home with high quality brandy and a few good vanilla beans) and it never seemed to get clear. It even looked fuzzy when I finished it the next day sober!

Music: There’s a little cheesy music in the background. I really don’t know if it helps things or not.

Disc Complaints: There’s a long lead-in / website commercial for Madness Pictures as the DVD starts that you can’t skip past. This always ticks me off, and is something I hope that Madness kills very soon!

The Feature

Security Camera Chronicles Vol. 1 collects a series of scenes supposedly caught on security and surveillance cameras. That’s a great idea until you get to the fine print on the back cover which states All persons in this video are professional actors and actresses portraying fictional roles..., which seems to nicely contradict the big print that claims it’s From a collection of surveillance and security cameras throughout America comes a very inappropriate assortment of exhibitionists recorded on tape. Anything can happen when people think they’re not being watched. But you’ll get a first-hand look at how security cameras across the country are viewing what these people do every day....

Scene 1 - Taylor and Juan Cuba

Juan starts things out talking with Taylor (at least, that’s what she calls herself) while doing laundry in what appears to be their apartment laundry room. They quickly start kissing and fondling each other before Tyalor starts sucking Juan’s schlong. Juan lays out a few towels on the washing machine for Taylor to lay on as he warms up and then fucks her pussy. He tries to pile drive her on the washing machine before they hope down for some doggie style on the floor. Finally, he gives her a facial and they pick up before they’re caught.

This scene comes off as incredibly fake right from the start. I love the idea, but when you have a guy walk through the start of the scene wearing a shirt with the company logo on the back it’s kind of a giveaway. It’s also highly edited, with very frequent editing cuts and the audio bring brought forward so that you hear the same sounds from the washing machine all the time. This scene has a great idea, but too many things go wrong for it to work.

Scene 2 - Brunette and a guy

When a guy’s brunette female boss tells him to do something different, he doesn’t want to. She leaves mad, and then when she comes back a few minutes later lets him manhandle her, kiss her, and grope. Of course her top comes off and she goes down on the guy. She gives him a nice knob gobbling until somebody else arrives and the scene ends.

This is another scene that just didn’t work for me. The scene starts out like a sexual harassment suit at best, and there’s never any reason to think the chick wants to be with the guy. Due to the horrible video quality you can also barely make anything out. This scene leaves everything to be desired.

Scene 3 - Keiko and a guy

Keiko and a guy get it on in what looks like it might be a hallway or back edge of a movie set. She lets him eat and finger her pussy before trading places so that she can mouth his manhood. She lets him fuck her from behind as well as letting him fuck her as they face each other. She even works in a little cocksucking between fucks and finishes things up taking a pop on her pretty little titties.

This is an okay scene. Keiko looks like she’s having a lot of fun, and the guy really knows how to rabbit fuck. There’s some decent chemistry here, but once again the scene suffers because it looks way too much like it’s staged.

Scene 4 - Julie Night

Julie starts out her scene looking like she’s trying to work before looking around to see if anybody’s watching. When she doesn’t see anybody else around she starts to lightly diddle herself. After taking a phone call she gets into some heavier diddling, and turns so that the ‘security camera’ can see just what she’s doing. She even uses a pen, a container of correction fluid, and the tape dispenser on her pussy before taking another phone call. This would be a pretty good voyeurism scene if Julie wasn’t so recognizable. As is it’s fun and builds up some heat, but as usual I just couldn’t get too into it knowing the entire thing was faked.

Scene 5 - Kaylynn and a guy

This scene leaves a bit to be desired. Yes, there’s the fact that you can hear the guy being given a few directions here, btu there are other technical problems as well, such as the audio completely disappearing when the speed of the video appears to be adjusted. This could have been an okay scene, but ends up very amateur (and not in the good way).

Scene 6 - Leyla Lei

Leyla finds herself in a room watching a bit of porn in the next scene. Since she’s in a private room she decides to give into her urges and diddles herself naturally while watching. Finally, the scene fades out.

I’m not sure if this scene seems to be more of a tease or a joke. It half seems like a tease because it’s so short. It also half seems like a joke because it doesn’t seem like a situation for a “security camera”. It just feels like a half of a porn scene.

Scene 7 - Brunette and Trevor

When Trevor and his girlfriend take a tour of the funeral home with nobody around, he learns that she always wanted to do it in a funeral home. They strip down and hop into the casket where she goes right to work sucking his cock. He returns the favor with a bit of pussy licking before fucking her missionary style. This is another scene that would have been pretty good if done decently. There looks to be some nice chemistry and energy as well as a fun feel. The main thing that ruined it was that after all that came before it, it just seemed faked.

Scene 8 - Brunette

When things get slow at work, a brunette (who looks like she might be have a little mixed blood in her) decides to look at a bit of porn. She quickly strips down and starts diddling herself naturally. She keeps it up until the phone rings calling her back to work.

This is another scene that might be okay if it didn’t seem so obviously faked. The girl looks like she gets into it nicely, and almost kept my attention. This is one of the better scenes in the movie.

Scene 9 - Blonde

A blonde heads into the bathroom to pee. After she finishes her silent piss, she starts diddling herself. She sits forward and backward on the stool, and even uses the holy crap bar alongside the toilet. After she “cums”, she wipes, gets dressed, and leaves.

Okay, how many people out there are going to walk around barefoot in a public toilet? Now what percentage of that number are men? Yeah, that little realization killed the fantasy in this scene for me even before the thought of a camera in a woman’s bathroom.

Scene 10 - Brunette and a guy

A brunette and her man head into the toilet to get it on in the final scene. She sits on the stool to suck his cock before squatting down to keep working on him. He takes his turn on the stool so she can ride him reverse cowgirl style before they fuck standing up against the sink. The girl takes a couple breaks to give her man a little oral loving, and finishes things up taking a decent looking facial.

This scene ends things on a high note. There’s nice chemistry and a realistic feel to the scene if you can get past the thought of a camera being set up in the bathroom. There’s even a little rush at the end that’s a nice touch. Unfortunately, it’s too little, too late.

It should come as no surprise to a lot of people familiar with the wonderful world of porn that a lot of things are faked. Thankfully, very few things seem to be faked as badly as Security Cam Chronicles Vol. 1. It starts off ruining any fantasy it might have created by having somebody walk in front of a camera wearing a shirt with the Madness logo that you were just forced to watch before the movie started rather than being able to skip by it. It keeps things feeling fake with nearly constant editing cuts that left me wondering if there was ever a full minute of continuous footage in the movie. Yes, they captured the crappy video look, but they made it seem even more odd by leaving the audio be nearly perfect. I can understand a company wanting to fake a movie like this, but Madness botches Security Cam Chronicles Vol. 1 so badly that I’m afraid to check out anything that looks even close to questionable from them ever again.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Madness’ DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25, with a few stores offering them near the low end. Rent this one first. I’m sure some people won’t mind the sex scenes being faked rather than real, but it ruined the movie for me. The technical aspects also suck and the DVD authoring is some of the worst I’ve seen.

Note to Madness Pictures: If you’re going to fake something, please have somebody do it who can do it right. As is, this DVD really brought my impression of your company down.
