"Secret Desires" prides itself for having Nautica Thorn’s first-ever anal scene. But there’s more to it than just that. This whole video is a Nautica Thorn operation. This last scene was a little bit of a disappointment for this reviewer. It had the potential to be one hell of a scene, but a few things sort of ruined it.

We start with Nautica in front of the computer. (Surfing for porn, maybe? Getting the latest from www.adultdvdtalk.com perhaps?) Whatever it is she’s doing, she’s clearly bored and tired. (Must be reading my reviews.) She leans back and falls asleep.

The next thing we know, we’re inside her dream. She’s on a big furry bed wearing some hot purple outfit. There’s a white mosquito net curtain between her and the camera. Chris (you remember him as the teacher) shows up and starts kissing and caressing her.

It shouldn’t have even been IN the scene, much less distracting the viewer! In fact, there were certain times when the camera would go around the mosquito net, so it really wasn’t needed. Then we have the occasional "artistic" shots with slow motion and psychedelic filters that also weren’t needed. And then the WORST part of this scene was that stupid audio reverb that made it sound like they were fucking on the bottom of the Grand Canyon with stadium-style loudspeakers. Put all of that together, and Chris wasn’t the only one shooting blanks in that scene. Look, we know this was a dream… we didn’t need to be reminded of it.

From there we go right to the credits, and this video DOES have credits! That’s actually a plus for Nautica and AMA Video. Well… that and the absence of any forced trailers when you put the DVD in.

In terms of extras, we have just the "Behind the scenes" video, which consists of her boxcover shoot, some footage of her as the director, fluffing Chris for the classroom scene, playing with a camera, having fun getting ready for her scenes, and doing her first anal scene on camera. It’s fun to see this footage, and it does look like Nautica had a blast doing this video, but I wish there were some more extras. For instance, all of that footage done for the boxcover could have been included as a gallery for the DVD. The BTS scenes could have even been broken down into separate video clips.

All-in-all, we have an above-average DVD from Nautica Thorn and AMA video. The women are easy on the eyes, and of course the guys aren’t slouches. Most of the sex scenes are good, but there should have been a little more post-production work put into this, and obviously the last scene needed some serious work. This is a great video to get if you’re a fan of Nautica, but otherwise I’d suggest only getting it if the price is under $15.
