| Prologue When Tom Byron decided to get back in front of the cameras and rededicated himself to a new line of videos, one of the genres he jumped on was the mature, or MILF line. Like many people, he was dissatisfied with the general acronym and false tone of the existing videos, so he called his "Seasoned Players". I thought Victoria Valentino was a bit tepid, and both Brenda James and Kayla Quinn surprising hot. Byron keeps adding to his own legacy with his grasp of how to perform with control and passion. If there's a weakness to this, or any of his series, it lies in an editing style that was formed mostly by the limitations of videotape. Too many sharp edits that could have been transitioned with ongoing action, unless they really were starting and stopping with each change of position. Just a slightly looser style would have worked better for me. Also, if someone sits down to watch this whole video at once, one of the greatest assets of the production, Byron himself, actually becomes a liability because it adds to the sameness of every scene. Same house. Same menu. Same male talent. I'm only adding that because it was something my girlfriend expressed regarding another of his productions, but certainly applies to just about everything he's released over the last year or so. I don't particularly see a gonzo as something I have to take in all at once, but renters find themselves doing it for a quick turnaround. Just something to ponder. This series is certainly enhanced by past history with some of these women, and some of the interviews are good fun. |
