The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are slightly above average for gonzo porn. The audio is clear and well balanced, but there are a few background noises throughout the feature. The audio is very clear and there’s very little camera shake, but the lighting varies throughout the movie. The biggest problem is that you can hear the stars being given directions and see them looking for direction a few times throughout the scene. Overall, Sarah J Goes Black looks and sounds very good for a low budget feature.

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu has a fairly simple clip from the movie that works well with the menu and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Scene 2 - Sarah J.

The only problem with the scene is that it seems drawn out and like it lasts forever. I couldn’t help but get a little bored as I watched this scene just because it went on so long and didn’t have a large variety of camera angles. The length of the oral at the end also made it seem like the guy had trouble popping, which doesn’t seem like a good way to end a scene and a movie to me. In the end it’s a pretty average scene that feels like it would have been much better if it had been tightened up a bit.

Sarah J. Goes Black is an okay feature. It started off with one strike against it by being under an hour long, as I think if a scene is under an hour long it should be combined with another to make a full length feature. That said, Sarah and her man do a pretty good job here. They put nice energy into the scene and seem to have some decent chemistry. I never had the feeling that this was Sarah’s first black cock, as she seems to handle it with ease, but that’s okay too as the thought gave the movie a fairly fun start. The biggest problem with the movie is that it drags. It’s almost like a “throw it at the wall and see what sticks” approach right down to having some of the directions left in which could have easily been edited out. It’s things like this that left me feeling that the sex was average when it could have easily been very good with the energy and chemistry Sarah and the guy were putting out. Sarah J. Goes Black ends up a nice short feature that feels like it should have been better.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Sensational Video’s DVDs can be found online for around $17. This seems just a little high here since the movie isn’t quite an hour long and there aren’t any extras. The two people in the movie seem into each other, and the tehcnical aspects are pretty good, so if you’re into interracial sex and want to see some fresh talent you might want to check it out.

Note to Sensational Video: If this was half of a double feature, this would have been a much nicer DVD. An extra or two would have also been very nice. Finally, please give your male talent a little credit. I know that their job isn’t as easy as everybody thinks it is, so please give them the credit they deserve.
